Eficacia de un programa educativo sobre derechos sexuales y reproductivos en el nivel de conocimiento y actitud de madres de familia. IEI "santa clarita" N° 1784 la esperanza - Trujillo. 2015

Abstract

Con el objetivo de determinar la eficacia de un programa educativo sobre derechos sexuales y reproductivos en el nivel de conocimiento y actitud de madres de familia de la IEI Santa Clarita Nº1784 La Esperanza-Trujillo, 2015, se realizó una investigación de tipo cuasi experimental con diseño de pre y postest en 38 madres de familia de los niños matriculados, que fueron seleccionadas de forma aleatoria en dos grupos (Caso y Control). Antes de empezar el programa educativo se aplicó un pretest para medir el nivel de conocimiento y actitud, validado mediante juicio de expertos, con una confiabilidad de 0.85 según el Alfa de Cronbach. Al grupo caso se le aplicó el programa educativo en 6 sesiones, 1 sesión por semana. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que en el grupo Caso, el nivel de conocimiento fue malo con 58% y regular 42% y en el grupo Control 68% malo y 32% regular. El nivel de actitud en el grupo Caso fue malo con el 79% y 21% regular, mientras que en el grupo Control fue 53% malo y 47% regular. Un mes después de finalizar el programa educativo, se aplicó el postest, obteniendo que para el grupo Caso, el nivel de conocimiento fue 84% bueno y 16% regular, mientras que en el grupo Control fue 58% malo y 42% regular. El nivel de actitud en el grupo Caso fue 74% bueno y 26% regular, mientras que en el grupo Control fue 58% malo y 42% regular. Se concluye que existe diferencia significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud antes y después de aplicado el programa educativo con un p<0.05, confirmando que el programa educativo sobre derechos sexuales y reproductivos es eficaz.

For the purpose of determining the effectiveness of an educational program on sexual and reproductive rights in the level of knowledge and attitude of mothers of “IEI Santa Clarita Nº1784 La Esperanza-Trujillo, 2015”, a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and postest design was performed in 38 mothers of children that were enrolled in the school previously mentioned, which were randomly selected in two groups (Case and Control). Before starting with the educational program, a pretest was applied in order to measure the level of knowledge and attitude, which was validated by an Expert Judgment, with a reliability of 0.85 according to Cronbach's Alpha. The Case group applied the educational program in 6 sessions, 1 session per week. The results obtained show that in the Case group, the level of knowledge was bad with 58% and regular (42%); and in the Control group, 68% was bad and 32% was regular. The Attitude level in the Case group was bad with 79% and 21% regular, while in the control group, 53% was bad and 47% regular. A month after the educational program finished, the postest was applied, obtaining that for the Case group, the knowledge level was 84% good and 16% regular, whereas in the control group, 58% was bad and 42% regular. In the Case group, the attitude level was 74% good and 26% regular, while in the Control group, 58% was bad and 42% regular. In view of the results, we conclude that there is a significant difference between the level of knowledge and attitude before and after the educational program were applied, with a p <0.05, confirming that the educational program on sexual and reproductive rights is effective.
