Factores que influyen en el nivel de conocimiento sobre tratamientos pulpares regenerativos en odontólogos, Trujillo 2022.

Abstract

Objetivo: Evaluar los factores que influyen en el nivel de conocimiento sobre los tratamientos pulpares regenerativos en odontólogos de Trujillo, Materiales y Métodos: El estudio fue observacional de corte transversal. Se evaluaron a 316 odontólogos de Trujillo, previo consentimiento informado que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. La selección de la muestra se realizó a través del Muestreo de no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se utilizo un cuestionario de 20 preguntas validado previamente por el juicio de 8 expertos, donde se obtuvo la V de Aiken de 1 y para la confiabilidad se aplicó el Alfa de Cronbach obteniendo un valor de 0.815. Para asociar las variables se utilizó la prueba de chi cuadrado. Resultados: Se encontró que el 31.33% de los odontólogos presentaron un nivel de conocimiento suficiente y bueno respectivamente, mientras que el 30.7% presento un conocimiento insuficiente. Al evaluar el sexo, los del sexo femenino presentaron un nivel de conocimiento suficiente en un 36.69%, mientras que el sexo masculino presento un conocimiento insuficiente en un 36.73%. Según los años de experiencia, aquellos que ejercen hace más de 10 años el 44.44% presentaron un conocimiento bueno y 22.22% insuficiente; sin embargo, en los estudios de postgrado se observó diferencia estadísticamente significativa. Conclusión: El nivel de conocimientos de los odontólogos sobre los tratamientos pulpares regenerativos es suficiente y bueno. Los estudios de postgrado influyen en el nivel de conocimiento queestos poseen.

Objective: To evaluate the factors that influence the level of knowledge about regenerative pulp treatment in dentists in Trujillo, Materials and Methods: The study was observational cross-sectional. A questionnaire of 20 questions was used, previously validated by the judgment of 8 experts, where Aiken's V of 1 was obtained and for reliability Cronbach's Alpha was applied, obtaining a value of 0.815. Finally, the chi-square test was used to associate the variables. Results: It was found that 31.33% of the dentists had a sufficient and good level of knowledge respectively, while 30.7% had insufficient knowledge. When sex was evaluated, 36.69% of the female dentists had sufficient knowledge, while 36.73% of the male dentists had insufficient knowledge. According to the years of experience, those who have been practicing for more than 10 years, 44.44% presented good knowledge and 22.22% insufficient; however, a statistically significant difference was observed in postgraduate studies. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of dentists about regenerative pulp treatment is sufficient and good. Postgraduate studies influence their level of knowledge.and 39 years, male, single, with less than ten years of employment. Conclusion: The prevalence of Burnout syndrome in dentists from Chimbote, Ancash region, 2022 was 42%.
