Evidencias de validez del Cuestionario de Estrés Parental PSI – SF en padres de familia de nidos - jardines de Trujillo

Abstract

Se llevó a cabo la presente investigación con la finalidad de determinar las evidencias de validez del Cuestionario de Estrés Parental PSI – SF en padres de familia de nidos - jardines de Trujillo, para ello, se trabajó con una muestra de 368 padres de familia, varones y mujeres, de dos nidos jardines públicos trujillanos, siendo el instrumento en estudio el Cuestionario de Estrés Parental (PSI - SF) de Abidin, conformado por 36 ítems y tres dimensiones. Se evaluó la validez de constructo mediante la correlación ítem test, hallándose valores entre .217 y .686, siendo superiores al valor mínimo recomendado, y también mediante análisis factorial confirmatorio, encontrándose índices de ajuste óptimos (GFI= .953, AGFI= .947, NFI= .939, RMR= .075) además, se obtuvieron los pesos factoriales de todos los ítems, los cuales alcanzaron valores entre .351 y .784; por otro lado, en cuanto a la confiabilidad por alfa de Cronbach, el instrumento a nivel global alcanzó un valor de .937 y en las dimensiones, los valores oscilaron entre .851 y .885, finalmente se elaboran los baremos percentilares y puntos de corte, concluyéndose que el instrumento posee adecuadas evidencias de validez y confiabilidad para ser utilizado en padres de familia de nidos jardines de Trujillo

The present investigation was carried out with the purpose of determine the evidences of validity of the Parental Stress Questionnaire PSI - SF in parents from kindergartens of Trujillo, for this, the sample were 368 parents, men and women, from two public kindergartens of Trujillo, the instrument under study was the Abidin's Parental Stress Questionnaire (PSI - SF) made up of 36 items and three dimensions. The construct validity was evaluated through the item test correlation, finding values between .217 and .686, being higher than the minimum recommended, and also through confirmatory factor analysis, finding optimal fit indices (GFI= .953, AGFI= .947 , NFI= .939, RMR= .075) in addition, the factor loadings of all the items were obtained, which values were between .351 and .784; on the other hand, reliability was estimated with Cronbach's alpha, the instrument at a global level reached a value of .937 and in the dimensions, the values ranged between .851 and .885, finally percentile scales and cut-off points were developed, concluding that the instrument has adequate evidence of validity and reliability to be used in parents of kindergartens in Trujillo.
