Programa educativo IO+IU para mejorar el desarrollo personal de los alumnos de tercer grado de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa Salesiano San José de Trujillo

Abstract

El principal objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar de qué manera influye el programa educativo IO + IU en el desarrollo personal de los alumnos de tercer grado de educación secundaria de la institución educativa particular Salesiano San José de Trujillo, en el año 2013. En este estudio de tipo cuantitativo cuasi – experimental con pre test – post test y grupo único, se aplicó el Cuestionario de Autoconcepto, Asertividad, Empatía y se determinó el nivel de autoconcepto, asertividad y empatía de los alumnos del tercer grado de secundaria, en el periodo Mayo – Septiembre 2013.

En la investigación se obtuvo que el programa educativo “IO + IU” influyó significativamente en el desarrollo personal de los alumnos de tercer grado de secundaria, observándose resultados favorables en la hipótesis a través de la prueba estadística t de student para muestras dependientes con un nivel de significancia de 0.05.

La aplicación del programa educat ivo “IO + IU” mejoró el desarrollo personal del 100% de los alumnos, alcanzando un nivel alto. Así mismo, los alumnos del tercer grado de educación secundaria incrementaron su nivel de autoconcepto logrando un nivel alto el 75.86%, un nivel de asertividad alto el 75.86% y un nivel de empatía alto el 55.17%.

The main objective of this research is it determine how the educational program influences IO + IU in the personal development of students in the third grade of secondary education in the particular educational institution Salesian San José de Trujillo, in 2013. In this quantitative study of quasi - experimental pretest – post test and only group, the Self-concept Questionnaire, Assertiveness, Empathy was applied and the level of self-concept, assertiveness and empathy of students in the third grade of secondary was determined, in the period May to September 2013.

In the investigation it was found that the ““IO + IU““ educational program significantly influenced the personal development of students in third grade high school, showing favorable results in the hypothesis through statistical t Student test for dependent samples with a level 0.05 significance.

The application of the educational program ““IO + IU““ improved 100% personal development of students, reaching a high level. Also, students in the third grade of secondary education increased their level of self-concept achieving a high level the 75.86%, a higher level of assertiveness the 75.86% and the highest level of empathy 55.17%.
