Correlación del estado de inmunocompromiso con la reactividad de la prueba rápida para VIH. Hospital Regional Docente las Mercedes (MINSA), Chiclayo 2014

Abstract

Determinar si existe relación entre el estado de inmunosupresión con la reactividad de la prueba rápida en el hospital Regional Docente Las Mercedes de Chiclayo.

MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo correlacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo, descriptivo transversal. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 47 pacientes según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos.

RESULTADOS: La prueba rápida para VIH presentó un 98%(46) de resultados positivos independientemente del estado de inmunocompromiso y solo 2%(1) fueron no reactivos presentándose como caso aislado, al relacionar el estado de inmunocompromiso y la reactividad de la prueba rápida se obtuvo Chi cuadrado: 4.202 (P=0.435). CONCLUSIONES: No existe relación entre el estado de inmunocompromiso con la reactividad de la prueba rápida para VIH en el Hospital Regional Docente Las Mercedes de Chiclayo.

To determine the correlation between the state of inmunocompromised

METHODS: A correlational, descriptive, restrospective, descriptive transversal was conducted. The study population consisted of 47 patients according to inclusion and exclusion criteria established.

RESULTS: The rapid HIV test showed a 98%(46) of positive results regardless of inmunocompromised state and only 2% (1) were noreactive presenting as isloated case, by relating the inmunocompromised state and reactivity of the rapid test 4.202 (p= 0.435) Chi Square was obtained.

CONCLUSIONS: There is no relationship between the inmunocompromised state with the reactivity of the rapid test for HIV at Hospital Regional Docente Las Mercedes de Chiclayo.
