Satisfacción marital y bienestar psicológico en padres de familia de una institución educativa de Trujillo

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre la satisfacción marital y el bienestar psicológico en padres de familia de una institución educativa de Trujillo. Asimismo, fue de tipo sustantiva y diseño correlacional. La muestra se obtuvo por muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple, la cual quedó constituida por 169 padres de familia cuyas edades oscilan entre 24 y 45 años. Para el recojo de la información se utilizó la Escala de Satisfacción Marital de Pick de Weiss y Andrade (1988) y la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico de Ryff (2006). Los hallazgos demostraron que existe una correlación altamente significativa y directa entre la satisfacción marital y el bienestar psicológico en padres de familia de una institución educativa de Trujillo. Del mismo modo, se halló que en la muestra estudiada predomina el nivel medio de satisfacción marital y el nivel elevado de bienestar psicológico.

The objective of this research was to analyze the relationship between marital satisfaction and psychological well-being in parents of an educational institution in Trujillo. Also, it was substantive type and correlational design. The sample was obtained by simple random probabilistic sampling, which was constituted by 169 parents whose ages ranged between 24 and 45 years. To collect the information, we used the Weiss and Andrade Pick Marital Satisfaction Scale (1988) and the Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Scale (2006). The study concludes that: there is a highly significant and direct correlation between marital satisfaction and psychological well-being in parents of an educational institution in Trujillo. Similarly, it was found that the average level of marital satisfaction and the high level of psychological well-being predominate in the sample studied.
