Factores determinantes de las exportaciones pesqueras tradicionales de harina de pescado en la region Piura, 2005 - 2023

Abstract

El actual estudio tuvo como objetivo general identificar los factores determinantes de las exportaciones pesqueras tradicionales de harina de pescado en la región Piura, 2005 – 2023. Para ello, la metodología empleada fue cuantificable, explicativo y sin experimentación; además, la muestra estuvo compuesta por 19 datos para cada variable de estudio, la cual fue recolectada por una ficha de registro y analizada por el modelo econométrico conocido como Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios (MCO). Los resultados evidenciaron que, factores como el tipo de cambio real, producción pesquera y PBI del principal país de destino (China) resultaron ser significativos para las exportaciones pesqueras tradicionales, dado que, el nivel de significancia fue menor a 0.05; sin embargo, la variable asociada al precio de exportación de la harina de pescado resultó ser no significativa para el modelo, pues la probabilidad fue mayor al 0.05. Por ende, se concluye que, los factores determinantes de las exportaciones pesqueras tradicionales de harina de pescado en la región Piura, 2005 – 2023 son: tipo de cambio real, producción pesquera y PBI del principal país de destino (China), pues las variables independientes mencionadas previamente explican aproximadamente el 71.89% de la variabilidad de la variable dependiente, inclusive, el nivel de significancia global fue igual a 0.007.

The current study had as its general objective to identify the determining factors of traditional fishery exports of fishmeal in the Piura region, 2005 - 2023. To do so, the methodology used was quantifiable, explicative and without experimentation; In addition, the sample consisted of 19 data for each study variable, which was collected by a registration form and analyzed by the econometric model known as Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The results showed that factors such as the real exchange rate, fishery production and GDP of the main destination country (China) turned out to be significant for the traditional fishery exports construct, since the level of significance was less than 0.05; however, the variable associated with the export price of fishmeal turned out to be non-significant for the model, since the probability was greater than 0.05. Therefore, it is concluded that the determining factors of traditional fishery exports of fishmeal in the Piura region, 2005 - 2023 are: real exchange rate, fishery production and GDP of the main destination country (China), since the independent variables mentioned previously explain approximately 71.89% of the variability of the dependent variable, including the global significance level was equal to 0.007
