Construcción de museo de sitio en la ciudad perdida de Huayuri - Ica

Abstract

La Investigación desarrollada busca proteger el patrimonio natural y cultural de la CIUDAD PERDIDA DE HUAYURI – ICA, donde se ha diseñado un MUSEO DE SITIO que se ubica en el entorno del yacimiento, para conservar y exhibir los materiales arqueológicos hallados, este proyecto arquitectónico ha sido diseñado sin fines lucrativos, permanente, para que en el futuro este se encuentre al servicio de la sociedad y de su desarrollo, abierta al público en general, estudiantes, turistas, etc. que adquiere, conserva, investiga, comunica y expone nuestro patrimonio con fines de educación, estudio y recreo. En Ica se encuentran grandes antecedentes prehispánicos que dan cuenta de la riqueza y el arraigo de su cultura, pero con una gran carencia de infraestructura para la puesta en valor de los patrimonios que se encuentran en la zona. Este es el caso de los restos arqueológicos de la ciudad perdida de Huayuri perteneciente al periodo intermedio tardío (ca. 1100 d.c. a 1476 d.c.). Aunque la arqueología de este periodo prehispánico es pobremente conocida, tiene una riqueza arquitectónica y urbanística con un gran valor arqueológico, y a pesar de eso se le dio mayor énfasis de investigación a la cultura nazca (0 al 650 d.c.) Es por eso y de igual manera con todo el respaldo histórico - cultural se realizará una investigación que motive a aplicar estos estudios y conocimiento en el proyecto de CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL MUSEO DE SITIO DE HUAYURI.

The research carried out seeks to protect the natural and cultural heritage of the LOST CITY OF HUAYURI - ICA, where a SITE MUSEUM has been designed that is located in the environment of the site, to preserve and display the archaeological materials found, this architectural project has been designed non-profit, permanent, so that in the future it will be at the service of society and its development, open to the general public, students, tourists, etc. that acquires, preserves, investigates, communicates and exposes our heritage for the purposes of education, study and recreation. In Ica there are great pre-Hispanic antecedents that account for the richness and roots of its culture, but with a great lack of infrastructure to enhance the heritage found in the area. This is the case of the archaeological remains of the lost city of Huayuri belonging to the late intermediate period (ca. 1100 AD to 1476 AD). Although the archeology of this pre-Hispanic period is poorly known, it has an architectural and urban richness with great archaeological value, and despite that, greater research emphasis was given to the Nazca culture (0 to 650 AD). With all the historical and cultural support, an investigation will be carried out that motivates the application of these studies and knowledge in the project of CONSTRUCTION OF THE HUAYURI SITE MUSEUM.
