Abstract

En el presente trabajo de investigación, se analiza el tratamiento informativo que tuvo el medio digital Walac Noticias, sobre el caso de la viruela del mono en la ciudad de Piura. Se analizó este tema, pues a raíz de la aparición de un nuevo virus que paralizó al mundo por casi dos años, los medios tuvieron una postura muy marcada, al momento de informar desde la primera aparición en el mundo, hasta la llegada del virus a nuestro país. Es así que nace la idea del presente trabajo, resaltar como un medio digital informó sobre un virus que tomaba por sorpresa a la población. Desde la primera vez que se habló de la enfermedad, la llegada al país y sobre todo el primer contagio registrado en la región Piura, pues la sociedad tiene muy en claro el papel que cumplen los medios de comunicación al momento de informar. Influye desde la manera de presentar la noticia, los elementos que utiliza y lenguaje empleado en cada nota publicada

In the present research work, the informative treatment that the digital media Walac Noticias had on the case of monkey smallpox in the city of Piura is analyzed. This topic was analyzed, because as a result of the appearance of a new virus that paralyzed the world for almost two years, the media had a very marked position, when reporting from the first appearance in the world, until the arrival of the virus in our country. This is how the idea of this work was born, to highlight how a digital media reported on a virus that took the population by surprise. From the first time the disease was discussed, the arrival in the country and especially the first contagion registered in the Piura region, since society is very clear about the role played by the media at the time of reporting. It influences from the way of presenting the news, the elements used and the language used in each published note.
