Torre para la alta dirección e informática en la ciudad universitaria de la UPAO - sede Trujillo

Abstract

La Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, fundada hace 34 años, es reconocida por su excelencia académica no solo en la ciudad de Trujillo, sino también en la macro región del norte peruano. Como meta de las autoridades de gobierno de la UPAO, se proponen fortalecer la imagen institucional para ser reconocida en el contexto nacional. Fortalecer la imagen institucional implica considerar varios aspectos; y desde la Arquitectura, corresponde diseñar una tipología edilicia de torre administrativa que se integre formal y espacialmente a la Ciudad Universitaria. Actualmente las oficinas de las autoridades de gobierno están dispersas en el recinto universitario, generando diversos problemas. Es por ello que se propone centralizar la administración y dinamizarla con actividades académicas principalmente con laboratorios de informática y con actividades complementarias como cafeterías, sala de exhibiciones, etc. Con el propósito de fortalecer la imagen institucional y además de consolidar la vida colectiva universitaria. El desarrollo conceptual del proyecto urbano arquitectónico, ha sido pensado de manera integral, resolviendo todas las especialidades y recalcando que el eje central que articula la propuesta, es la comunidad orreguina a fin de garantizar la apropiación del lugar, así como el sentido de pertenencia al Alma Mater.

The Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, founded 34 years ago, is recognized for its academic excellence not only in the city of Trujillo, but also in the macro region of northern Peru. As a goal of the governing authorities of UPAO, they intend to strengthen the institutional image to be recognized in the national context. Strengthening the institutional image implies considering several aspects; and from the architectural point of view, it is necessary to design a building typology of an administrative tower that integrates formally and spatially to the University City. Currently, the offices of the government authorities are dispersed throughout the university campus, generating various problems. For this reason, it´s proposed to centralize the administration and make it more dynamic with academic activities, mainly with computer laboratories and complementary activities such as cafeterias, exhibition hall, etc. With the purpose of strengthening the institutional image and consolidating the university's collective life. The conceptual development of the architectural urban project has been thought in an integral way, solving all the specialties and emphasizing that the central axis that articulates the proposal is the orreguina community in order to guarantee the appropriation of the place, as well as the sense of belonging to the Alma Mater.
