Nivel de conocimiento sobre urgencias odontológicas en estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, Trujillo-2021

Abstract

Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre urgencias odontológicas en estudiantes de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, Trujillo-2021. Materiales y método: Esteaestudio fueaprospectivo deacorteatransversal, descriptivoayaobservacional, seotrabajóoconounaomuestra deo120 estudiantes debestomatologíaodel VII, VIII, IX, X ciclo de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, cumpliendoaconolos criteriosadeainclusión. Laatécnica deorecolección deodatos que se utilizó fueaun cuestionarioavirtual, queoconsta de 20 preguntas sobre urgencias odontológicas, calificandosé con niveles de insuficiente, suficiente, bueno, muy bueno o sobresaliente. Resultados: Elanivelode conocimientoosobreourgencias odontológicas en estudiantesadeaEstomatología de la UniversidadoPrivadaoAntenoroOrrego fue suficiente en el 36.7% y bueno el 33.3%. En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento según ciclo académico el 13% del VII ciclo obtuvo un nivel suficiente, el 13% de VIII ciclo fue bueno, el 15% de IX ciclo fue suficiente, presentando un promedio de conocimiento suficiente. Conclusiones: Seoconcluyóaque elanivel deoconocimiento sobre urgencias odontológicas en los estudiantes de Estomatología es suficiente.

The data collection technique that was applied was a virtual questionnaire, which consists of 20 questions on dental emergencies, qualifying with levels of insufficient, sufficient, good, very good or outstanding. Results: The level of knowledge about dental emergencies in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University was sufficient in 36.7% and good in 33.3%. Regarding the level of knowledge according to the academic cycle, 13% of the VII cycle obtained a sufficient level, 13% of the VIII cycle was good, 15% of the IX cycle was sufficient, presenting an average of sufficient knowledge. Conclusions: It was concluded that the level of knowledge about dental emergencies in Stomatology students is sufficient.
