Construcción y Validación de la escala de Autoestima ligada a las Relaciones Sexuales en estudiantes de una Universidad Privada de Piura

Abstract

La investigación se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de construir y determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Autoestima ligada a las Relaciones Sexuales en estudiantes de una Universidad Privada de Piura, teniendo como base La teoría de Dimensiones de la Autoestima por Coopersmith. La población estuvo compuesta por 7693 estudiantes, donde se aplicó la fórmula de poblaciones finitas, obteniendo una muestra de 938 estudiantes de una Universidad Privada de Piura, quienes fueron parte de las carreras de Psicología, Arquitectura, Comunicaciones, Administración, Contabilidad, Derecho, Ing. Industrial, Ing. Civil y Medicina Humana. El instrumento está conformado por 51 ítems. Se estableció la validez de contenido mediante el juicio de expertos, la cual expuso en el coeficiente de Aiken, una validación adecuada con índice de acuerdo de 1 y una significancia de 0,032**. Respecto a la confiabilidad de la escala, se obtuvo un coeficiente óptimo de confiabilidad de, 868. En cuanto al coeficiente ítem test, los valores de los reactivos 1, 2, 3, 5, 22 y 25 se encuentran por debajo de 0.20. Por lo tanto, serán eliminados. Además, la prueba del KMO fue de ,908 indicando que el AFE es viable, en donde se halló que los 4 componentes explican el 35.42% de la varianza, asimismo, los ítems 21, 31 y 52 no pertenecen a ningún componente. Por otra parte, el AFC determinó que los ajustes en RMSEA es ≤. 05, GFI, AGFI Y CFI son mayores al 0.90. Al finalizar se realizó la baremación en percentiles y se procedió a establecer los puntos de corte.

The research was carried out with the objective of constructing and determining the psychometric properties of the Self-Esteem Scale linked to Sexual Relations in students of a Private University of Piura, based on the theory of Dimensions of Self-Esteem by Coopersmith. The population was composed of 7693 students, where the formula of finite populations was applied, obtaining a sample of 938 students from a Private University of Piura, who were part of the careers of Psychology, Architecture, Communications, Administration, Accounting, Law, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering and Human Medicine. The instrument consists of 51 items. The validity of the content was established through the judgment of experts, which exposed in the Aiken coefficient, an adequate validation with an agreement index of 1 and a significance of 0.032**. Regarding the reliability of the scale, an optimal reliability coefficient of 868 was obtained. Regarding the item test coefficient, the values of reagents 1, 2, 3, 5, 22 and 25 are below 0.20. Therefore, they will be eliminated. In addition, the KMO test was .908 indicating that the AFE is viable, where it was found that the 4 components explain 35.42% of the variance, likewise, items 21, 31 and 52 do not belong to any component. On the other hand, the TFA determined that the adjustments in RMSEA is ≤.05, GFI, AGFI and CFI are greater than 0.90. At the end, the percentile scale was carried out and the cut-off points were established.
