Nivel de conocimiento sobre limpieza y desinfección de instrumental crítico y no crítico en estudiantes de Estomatología de la universidad privada Antenor Orrego

Abstract

Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre limpieza y desinfección de instrumental crítico y no critico en estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego,2021. Material y método: El estudio fue transversal y observacional, se realizó en la Escuela de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, se evaluó a 109 estudiantes del quinto al séptimo ciclo del semestre 2021-20. Se empleó un cuestionario virtual que constó de 10 preguntas, el cual previamente fue validado mediante la prueba de V de Aiken cuyo valor fue 0.9875 y una confiabilidad de 0.725. Resultados: Se encontró que el nivel de conocimiento de limpieza y desinfección de instrumentos críticos y no críticos, fue aproximadamente que el 64% de estudiantes tienen nivel de conocimiento Bajo, el 36% Regular y el 0% Alto. En relación a sólo limpieza del instrumental crítico y no crítico se estableció que aproximadamente el 41% de estudiantes tienen nivel de conocimiento Bajo, el 52% Regular y el 7% Alto. En cuanto a desinfección del instrumental crítico y no crítico se estableció que aproximadamente el 69% de estudiantes tienen nivel de conocimiento Bajo, el 30% Regular y el 1% Alto. Conclusión: El nivel de conocimiento sobre limpieza y desinfección de instrumentos críticos y no críticos en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego fue Bajo

Determine the level of knowledge about cleaning and disinfection of critical and non-critical instruments in Stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, 2021. Material and Method: The study was cross-sectional and observational, and was conducted at the Faculty of Stomatology of the Antenor Orrego Private University. A virtual questionnaire was used that had ten questions, which was previously validated by the Aiken V test whose value was 0.9875 and a reliability of 0.725. Results: It was found that the level of knowledge of cleaning and disinfection of critical and non-critical instruments was approximately 64% of students have low knowledge level, 36% Regular and 0% High. In relation to the cleaning of critical and non-critical instruments only, it was established that approximately 41% of students have low knowledge level, 52% Regular and 7% High. It was established about the disinfection of critical and non-critical instruments approximately 69% of students have a Low level of knowledge, 30% Regular and 1% High. Conclusion: The level knowledge about cleaning and disinfection of critical and non-critical instruments in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University is low.
