Estudio del impacto de la educación sanitaria en la sostenibilidad del proyecto de saneamiento en el distrito de Cachachi, Cajabamba – Cajamarca, 2022

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar el impacto de la implementación del Plan de Educación Sanitaria en la sostenibilidad del proyecto de saneamiento en el Distrito de Cachachi, Cajabamba – Cajamarca, enmarcado en tres dimensiones relevantes: El estado de la infraestructura existente, Operación y Mantenimiento del sistema y uso adecuado por parte de las familias beneficiadas. Para obtener dichos objetivos propuestos, se procedió a identificar la situación actual de los componentes básicos del sistema de agua potable, validar la implementación del Plan de Operación y Mantenimiento, evaluar el grado de satisfacción de los usuarios con referencia a la ejecución del proyecto y analizar las diferentes prácticas saludables adoptadas por la población beneficiada. Para lo cual, se utilizó como instrumento de investigación, la recolección de datos mediante observación directa de cada uno de los componentes de la infraestructura y entrevistas a los usuarios del sistema de agua potable, con la finalidad de determinar el estado del sistema y obtener resultados estadísticos para cuantificar la satisfacción referente a la implementación del proyecto en el Distrito. Además, se determinó el índice de sostenibilidad del Sistema de Agua Potable, evaluando tres factores principales: Estado del Sistema, Gestión del Servicio y Operación y Mantenimiento; obteniendo con ello un puntaje de 3.84 puntos, lo cual indica que el Sistema de Saneamiento es Sostenible. Con los resultados obtenidos, se concluyó que, la Implementación del Plan de Educación Sanitaria en el Distrito de Cachachi, Cajabamba – Cajamarca, influyó favorablemente para la sostenibilidad del Sistema de Agua Potable, debido a que se evidenció, el correcto manejo y ejecución del Plan de Operación y Mantenimiento a cada uno de los componentes del sistema y la adopción de buenas prácticas por parte de las familias beneficiadas; puesto que la JASS del distrito realiza capacitaciones y visitas domiciliarias periódicas; abordando temas relacionados al uso y cuidado adecuado de la infraestructura, lo cual se encuentra a detalle en el plan en mención.

The purpose of this research work is to determine the impact of the implementation of the Health Education Plan on the sustainability of the sanitation project in the District of Cachachi, Cajabamba - Cajamarca, framed in three relevant dimensions: The state of the existing infrastructure, Operation and Maintenance of the system and proper use by the beneficiary families. For which, it was shown as a research instrument, the collection of data through direct observation of each of the components of the infrastructure and interviews with the users of the drinking water system, in order to determine the state of the system and obtain results. statistics to quantify the satisfaction of reference to the implementation of the project in the District. In addition, the sustainability index of the Drinking Water System will be reduced, evaluating three main factors: State of the System, Service Management and Operation and Maintenance; thereby obtaining a score of 3.84 points, which indicates that the Sanitation System is Sustainable. With the results obtained, it was concluded that the Implementation of the Sanitary Education Plan in the District of Cachachi, Cajabamba - Cajamarca, favorably influenced the sustainability of the Drinking Water System, due to the fact that the correct management and execution of the Plan was evidenced. of Operation and Maintenance to each of the components of the system and the adoption of good practices by the beneficiary families; since the JASS of the district carries out training and periodic home visits; addressing issues related to the proper use and care of the infrastructure, which is found in detail in the aforementioned plan.
