Metodología 5S para incrementar la productividad del área de mantenimiento de autos en la empresa B & P Service SAC

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivos elaborar y proponer la metodología 5S en el área de mantenimiento de la empresa B & P SERVICE SAC para permitir la fácil identificación, orden y limpieza de los materiales, herramientas o máquinas a utilizar en las actividades rutinarias, logrando así generar el flujo continuo de las personas, información y materiales. Primero se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual de la empresa en relación al cumplimiento de las 5S y se detectaron las no conformidades en relación al deficiente sistema de orden y limpieza con un promedio de cumplimiento del 12%; luego se diseñó la metodología de las 5S con el fin de promover una cultura de orden y limpieza que pueda contribuir no solo con el flujo continuo sino también en identificar los riesgos locativos, mecánicos o microbiológicos que estén presentes en el área, posteriormente se estimó la nueva productividad del área de mantenimiento que antes era de 0.329 a un valor actual de 0.44, finalmente se calculó el beneficio-costo de 2.03, por consiguiente el proyecto es viable para su implementación. Además, con la elaboración de la propuesta de la metodología de las 5S se describieron los procedimientos y se identificaron los lugares de trabajo ordenados, limpios, con espacios optimizados y sobre todo con una fácil identificación de materiales para la labor de mantenimiento de autos; logrando una optimización del espacio de 25.85 m2.

The present research had the objectives of develop and propose the 5S methodology in the maintenance area of the company B & P SERVICE SAC to allow the easy identification, the order and cleaning of the materials, tools or machines that are used in routine activities, and achieving to generate the continuous flow of people, information and materials. First a diagnosis of the current situation of the company in relation to compliance with the 5S was made and non-conformities were detected in relation to the deficient system of order and cleanliness with an average fulfillment rate of 12%. Then the 5S methodology was designed in order to promote a culture of order and cleanliness that can contribute not only to the continuous flow but also to identify the locative, mechanical or microbiological risks that are present in the area, later the new productivity of the maintenance area that was previously 0.329 at a current value of 0.44, finally the benefit-cost of 2.03 was calculated, therefore the project is viable for its implementation In addition, with the elaboration of the proposal of the 5S methodology, the procedures were described, and the work places were organized, clean, with optimized spaces and above all with an easy identification of materials for the maintenance work of cars, achieving an optimization of the space of 25.85 m2.
