dc.description.abstract | Con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre COVID-19 y parto prematuro en el Hospital de apoyo II-2 Sullana durante el año 2020, se realizó una investigación de tipo aplicada y diseño transversal de cohorte. La muestra estuvo conformada por 600 historias clínicas de mujeres con diagnóstico de parto prematuro, 300 de ellas expuestas al COVID-19 y 300 no expuestas. El muestreo fue no probabilístico aleatorio simple. Se encontró que la edad promedio fue de 26 años, el 38% cumplían instrucción secundaria, 57% eran amas de casa, 75% procedentes de zona urbana y 90% tenían estado civil conviviente; con respecto a los antecedentes obstétricos 81% no presentó comorbilidades y la edad gestacional promedio fue de 35.4 semanas. Se encontró presencia de parto prematuro en el 35% de mujeres COVID-19 positivo y 14% en la población COVID-19 negativo. El riesgo relativo de presentar parto prematuro en mujeres COVID-19 positivo es de 2.56; lo que representa un factor de riesgo. Finalmente se concluyó que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre la variable COVID-19 y parto prematuro, lo que se corroboró según el test estadístico Chi cuadrado P<0.0001. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | With the objective of determining the relationship between COVID-19 and premature birth at the II-2 Sullana Support Hospital during 2020, an applied research and cross-sectional cohort design was carried out. The sample was made up of 600 medical records of women with a diagnosis of premature birth, 300 of them exposed to COVID-19 and 300 not exposed. The sampling was simple random non-probabilistic. It was found that the average age was 26 years, 38% completed secondary education, 57% were housewives, 75% came from an urban area and 90% had cohabiting marital status; Regarding obstetric history, 81% did not present comorbidities and the average gestational age was 35.4 weeks. The presence of premature birth was found in 35% of COVID-19 positive women and 14% in the COVID-19 negative population. The relative risk of preterm birth in COVID-19 positive women is 2.56; which represents a risk factor. Finally, it was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between the COVID-19 variable and premature birth, which was corroborated according to the Chi square statistical test P<0.0001. | es_PE |
