Nivel de conocimiento y actitud de la madre del prematuro, hacía el método Mamá Canguro, Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2014.

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó con el propósito de determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de la madre del prematuro hacia el método mamá canguro, Hospital Belén de Trujillo. El tipo de estudio fue descriptivo, correlacionar, porque describe la relación entre las variables identificadas en esta investigación. La muestra de estudio estuvo constituida por 25 madres con hijos prematuros según criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos; las variables a investigar fueron el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud materna del prematuro respecto al método mamá canguro, los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron: 1er cuestionario sobre nivel de conocimiento de la madre del prematuro hacia el método mamá canguro, y el 2do Cuestionario sobre Nivel de actitud de la madre del prematuro hacia el método mamá canguro Hospital Belén de Trujillo. Las conclusiones fueron, el nivel de conocimiento del método mama canguro fue alto en el 72% de las madres; medio en el 12% y bajo en el 16%. La actitud de la madre del prematuro hacia el método mamá canguro fue positiva en el 80% de los casos y negativa en el 20%. Por lo que existe una relación altamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud de la madre del prematuro, hacia el método mamá canguro con P = 0.00<0.05 es decir a que a mayor relación de conocimiento de la madre del prematuro hacia el método mamá canguro, su actitud será positiva.

This research was conducted in order to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of the mother of premature towards the mother kangaroo, Bethlehem Hospital of Trujillo method. The type of study was descriptive, correlational, cross type. The study sample consisted of 25 mothers of premature according to inclusion and exclusion criteria established; The variables investigated were the level of knowledge and attitude of early breast respect to breast kangaroo, instruments used were: 1st questionnaire on knowledge level of the mother of premature towards breast kangaroo, and the 2nd Questionnaire Level attitude towards the mother of premature breast kangaroo method Trujillo Bethlehem Hospital. The conclusions were, the level of knowledge of breast kangaroo was high in 72% of mothers; medium in 12% and under 16%. The attitude of the mother of premature towards the mother kangaroo was positive in 80% of cases and negative in 20%. So there is a highly significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of the mother of prematurity, towards the breast kangaroo with P = 0.00 <0.05, the greater the relationship of knowledge of the mother of premature towards breast method kangaroo, his attitude is positive.
