Nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes enfermería en una universidad privada, Trujillo - 2023

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo el objetivo de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en los estudiantes de enfermería en una universidad privada, Trujillo, 2023. El diseño de la investigación fue no experimental, tipo descriptivo, nivel correlacional. Se trabajó con una población muestral de 175 estudiantes que conformaban el I y II ciclo del programa de Enfermería de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, aplicando un instrumento para valorar las variables en estudio. Los resultados fueron, el 79,2% de estudiantes con conocimiento alto tuvieron actitud de aceptación, así mismo el 77.9% con conocimiento medio tuvieron la misma actitud; sin embargo, el 31,4% de estudiantes con bajos conocimientos se reportaron con una actitud de rechazo hacia el uso de métodos anticonceptivos. Se concluye teniendo una correlación entre las variables probando estadísticamente mediante la técnica de Chi cuadrado con un resultado de X^2=5.130

The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and attitude regarding the use of contraceptive methods in nursing students at a private university, Trujillo, 2023. The research design was non-experimental, descriptive type, correlational level. We worked with a sample population of 175 students who made up the I and II cycle of the Nursing program at the Antenor Orrego Private University, applying an instrument to assess the variables under study. The results were, 79.2% of students with high knowledge had an attitude of acceptance, likewise 77.9% with medium knowledge had the same attitude; However, 31.4% of students with low knowledge reported an attitude of rejection towards the use of contraceptive methods. It is concluded that there is a correlation between the variables tested statistically using the Chi square technique with a result of X^2=5.130
