Funcionamiento familiar relacionado con la ansiedad en adolescentes de nivel secundario en la institución educativa Los Pinos, Trujillo – 2023

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y la ansiedad en adolescentes de nivel secundario en la institución educativa Los Pinos, Trujillo – 2023. El estudio fue correlacional y diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 197 adolescentes, a los cuales se les aplicó una ficha sociodemográfica y dos cuestionarios. Los resultados muestran que, el 72% de estudiantes procede de una familia nuclear, en relación al funcionamiento familiar el 90% presenta una cohesión de nivel medio, en la dimensión adaptabilidad el 85% presenta un nivel medio y en general en el funcionamiento familiar, el 36% de los adolescentes tienen un nivel medio. En relación a la ansiedad, el 70% de los adolescentes tienen una ansiedad estado de nivel medio, en la dimensión ansiedad rasgo el 79% tienen un nivel medio y respecto a la ansiedad en general, el 81% de los adolescentes tienen un nivel medio. La dimensión cohesión y adaptabilidad del funcionamiento familiar presentan correlaciones de manera inversa y significativa (p < 0.05) con la ansiedad. En conclusión, se determinó que entre las variables funcionamiento familiar y ansiedad en adolescentes del nivel secundario existe una correlación inversa moderada y significativa (Rho = 0.428, p < 0.05)

The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between family functioning and anxiety in secondary school adolescents at Los Pinos educational institution, Trujillo - 2023. The study was correlational and non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 197 adolescents, to whom a sociodemographic form and two questionnaires were applied. The results show that 72% of the students come from a nuclear family; in relation to family functioning, 90% present a medium level of cohesion; in the adaptability dimension, 85% present a medium level; and in general, 36% of the adolescents have a medium level of family functioning. In relation to anxiety, 70% of the adolescents have a medium level of state anxiety, 79% have a medium level of trait anxiety and 81% of the adolescents have a medium level of anxiety in general. The cohesion and adaptability dimensions of family functioning show inverse and significant correlations (p < 0.05) with anxiety. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a moderate and significant inverse correlation (Rho = 0.428, p < 0.05) between the variable’s family functioning and anxiety in adolescents at the secondary level
