Conocimiento materno sobre inmunizaciones y cumplimiento del calendario de vacunas en el niño menor de 5 años Centro de Salud Liberación Social. Trujillo 2016

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio fue establecer la relación entre el conocimiento materno hacia las inmunizaciones y cumplimiento del calendario de vacunas del niño menor de 5 años. Es un de tipo descriptivo, correlacional. La población estuvo constituida por 250 madres asistentes al consultorio de CRED del Centro de Salud Liberación Social, la muestra estuvo conformada por 77 madres de niños menores de 5 años. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el Carnet de Vacunación del niño y como instrumento, el cuestionario. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la variable conocimiento presenta un nivel medio (46.8%); nivel bajo (41.5%) y nivel alto (11.7%) en relación a la variable cumplimiento se aprecia que si cumple (54.5%) y no cumple (45.5%). Relacionando ambas variables muestra un nivel bajo (51.4) de madres que no cumplen con el calendario de vacunación y un nivel medio (45.3%) de madres que si cumplen con el calendario de vacunas, evidenciando una relación significativa (p˂.05) entre dichas variables.

The objective of the present study was to establish the relationship between maternal knowledge regarding immunizations and compliance with the immunization schedule of children under 5 years of age. It is a descriptive, correlational type. The population was constituted by 250 mothers attending the CRED clinic of the Social Liberation Health Center, the sample consisted of 77 mothers of children under 5 years. For the collection of data, the Child Vaccination Card was used and the questionnaire was used as instrument. The results obtained show in the knowledge variable an average level (46.8%); (41.5%) and high (11.7%) in relation to the compliance variable, it is noted that if it complies (54.5%) and does not meet (45.5%).
