Actitud de la enfermera frente al cuidado del paciente crítico en clínicas privadas de Trujillo - 2016

Abstract

El presente trabajo de tipo descriptivo muestra los resultados de una investigación que se realizó en las clínicas Peruano Americana y SANNA de Trujillo en el 2016, con el propósito de identificar la actitud de la enfermera frente al cuidado del paciente crítico. El universo muestral estuvo conformado por 20 enfermeras a quienes se les aplicó el instrumento que consistió en una encuesta de 14 ítems que fue llenada por ellas, instrumento que fue elaborado y aplicado por Aguilera y Col. en su investigación actitud de la enfermera frente al paciente en etapa terminal; el mismo que fue modificado por las autoras de la presente investigación y validado en un estudio piloto en 10 enfermeras del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, la confiabilidad se midió mediante la prueba Alfa de Cronbach cuyo resultado fue de 0.85% obtenida la información. Se procesaron los datos, encontrando que el 95% de las enfermeras tuvo actitud favorable frente al cuidado del paciente crítico y en cuanto a los componentes de la actitud el componente cognitivo resultó favorable a la actitud en el 85% de enfermeras; el conductual también fue favorable en el 95% de ellas y el afectivo en tan sólo el 35 % concluyendo que la actitud de las enfermeras frente al cuidado del paciente crítico en las clínicas particulares en estudio fue favorable de modo general.

The present descriptive study shows the results of an investigation that was carried out at the Peruvian American and SANNA clinics in Trujillo in 2016, with the purpose of identifying the attitude of the nurse to the care of critical patients.
