Prevalencia y características de la violencia de género durante el embarazo y el parto en gestantes atendidas en el servicio de gineco-obstetricia

Abstract

OBJETIVO: Analizar la prevalencia y características de la violencia de género durante el embarazo en las mujeres cuyo parto preterminó, a terminó o aborto hayan sido atendidos en el Servicio de Obstetricia y Ginecología del Hospital Aplao, durante el período de agosto del 2016 a diciembre del 2016. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Estudio prospectivo, transversal, descriptivo, se estudió 120 pacientes atendidas en el servicio de ginecoobstetricia del Hospital Aplao. La información fue recogida mediante la entrevista estructurada y revisión de historias clínicas. Para determinar si existe asociación entre las características demográficas y sociales con el tipo de violencia se aplicará la prueba chi cuadrado para asociación de variables. Si P<0,05 existirá asociación entre las variables propuestas. RESULTADOS: En este estudio se incluyeron a todas las gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Aplao en el periodo agosto a diciembre del 2016, siendo un total de 120 gestantes atendidas en dicho periodo, obteniéndose 63 (52%) gestantes que recibieron violencia de género y 57 (47.5%) gestantes no tuvieron violencia de género. Obteniendo como resultados el tipo de violencia de género que recibieron las gestantes atendidas en el servicio de gineco-obstetricia del Hospital Aplao a un 23.8% con violencia física, 4,7% con violencia sexual y 71.5 % con violencia psicológica. También observamos que de todas las gestantes atendidas en dicho periodo presentan parto a terminó un 79.2%, pretermino 8.3% y aborto un 12.5% CONCLUSIÓN: Encontramos evidencia para la influencia de la violencia psicológica y física con respecto al estado civil. Existe una asociación significativa en la ocupación de la gestante, el status económico de ama de casa es más vulnerable a ser maltratada psicológicamente. Dentro de las características generales de la población se encontró que la mayoría tenía edades entre 20 y 24 años.

MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study is a prospective, cross-sectional and descriptive; We studied 120 patients served women in the service of Gynecology obstetrics at the hospital in the town of Aplao. The information was collected by instruments as the interview structured and review documentation as stories clinical. To determine if there is association between demographic and social characteristics with the kind of violence we will aplply the test chi square for Association of variables, applies the test chi square for Association of variables. If P<0,05 there is association between the variables proposed. RESULTS: In this study were included to all pregnant women atended at the Hospital in the town of Aplao in the period August to December 2016. The total number of pregnant women treated in this period was 120. We then see 63 (52%) pregnant who received gender-based violence and 57 (47.5%) pregnant women who have nothad gender-based violence. As a result, the type of gender violence who received expectant served in the service of obstetrics at the hospital Aplao is a 23.8% with physical violence, 4.7% with sexual violence and 71.5% with psychological violence. Alsonote that ll pregnant served in that period have labour at term a 79.2%, preterm 8.3% and abortion a 12.5%. CONCLUSION: In this study we found evidence of the influence of psychological and physical violence with regard to marital status. There is a significant association in the occupation of the pregnant woman, the economic status of housewife is more vulnerable to being abused psychologically. The General characteristics of the population, we find that most have ages between 20 and 24 years.
