Abstract

La investigación ""Evaluación y Reforzamiento Estructural en Vivienda Unifamiliar de la Urbanización Las Quintanas, distrito Trujillo, Trujillo, La Libertad"" se enfoca en la evaluación exhaustiva de la estructura de una vivienda unifamiliar en dicha urbanización, con el objetivo primordial de proponer medidas de reforzamiento que mejoren significativamente su seguridad y estabilidad. Para lograr este propósito, se plantean objetivos específicos que abarcan desde la estimación de la resistencia del concreto mediante esclerometría hasta la determinación de la profundidad de carbonatación y la verificación de las dimensiones de la cimentación. El estudio se apoya en una metodología rigurosa que incluye la realización de ensayos de compresión en muestras extraídas con diamantina y auscultaciones para verificar la cimentación. Además, se emplea el software ETABS para realizar un modelamiento estructural y analizar el comportamiento de la vivienda ante diferentes cargas. Los resultados de estas evaluaciones revelan deficiencias en la resistencia del concreto, en las dimensiones de los elementos estructurales y de la cimentación, así como la presencia de carbonatación y corrosión en el acero estructural. Como conclusión, se propone un plan integral de reforzamiento estructural que contempla el aumento de la sección de columnas y vigas, el reemplazo de muros de albañilería por muros de concreto armado y la modificación del sistema estructural a un sistema Dual Tipo I. Estas intervenciones se proyectan como garantía para cumplir con las normativas de seguridad y estabilidad estructural, asegurando la habitabilidad y durabilidad de la vivienda en la Urbanización Las Quintanas

The research ""Evaluation and Structural Strengthening of a Single-Family House in Las Quintanas Urbanization, Trujillo district, Trujillo, La Libertad"" focuses on the exhaustive evaluation of the structure of a single-family house in this urbanization, with the main objective of proposing strengthening measures that will significantly improve its safety and stability. To achieve this purpose, specific objectives are proposed, ranging from the estimation of concrete strength by sclerometry to the determination of the carbonation depth and the verification of the foundation dimensions. The study is based on a rigorous methodology that includes compression tests on diamond-abraded samples and auscultations to verify the foundation. In addition, ETABS software is used to perform structural modeling and analyze the behavior of the house under different loads. The results of these evaluations reveal deficiencies in the strength of the concrete, in the dimensions of the structural elements and the foundation, as well as the presence of carbonation and corrosion in the structural steel. In conclusion, a comprehensive structural reinforcement plan is proposed that includes increasing the section of columns and beams, replacing masonry walls with reinforced concrete walls and modifying the structural system to a Dual Type I system. These interventions are designed as a guarantee to comply with safety and structural stability regulations, ensuring the habitability and durability of the housing in the Las Quintanas housing development
