Demonstrate the association between anemia and pulpal and periapical disease in pediatric patients aged 5 to 11 years treated at EsSalud Pichanaki, 2023. Material and methods: An analytical, observational, ambispective case-control study was carried out in which 270 participants were included, of which there were 90 cases and 180 controls, the chi-square statistical test was used. The statistician determined the odds ratio and its corresponding 95% confidence interval. Results: Iron-deficiency anemia is a risk factor for pulpal and periapical pathology in children (OR 7.44, 95% CI 4.0-13.8). According to multivariate analysis using binary logistic regression, the consumption of ferrous sulfate (OR 13.8, 95% CI 5.6- 33.9), maternal education level (OR 2.4, 95% CI 1.1-5.3), maternal age (OR 7.5, 95% CI 2.9-19.4), family income (OR 4.0, 95% CI 1.6-9.6), and presence of caries (OR 10.7, 95% CI 4.5-25.7) were statistically independent factors associated with the presence of pulpal and periapical pathology. Conclusion: There is an association between anemia and pulpal and periapical disease in pediatric patients aged 5 to 11 years treated at EsSalud Pichanaki, 2023es_PE
