El clima social familiar como factor determinante en el rendimiento académico de las alumnas del cuarto año de educación secundaria de una institución educativa de Trujillo

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como propósito determinar si el clima social familiar es un factor determinante en el rendimiento académico de las alumnas del cuarto año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa estatal. Se trabajó con una muestra conformada por 80 alumnas. Para medir el nivel de clima social familiar se utilizó como instrumentos la Escala de Clima Social Familiar (FES) de R.H. Moos y E.J. Trickett, estandarizada por Cesar Ruiz Alva y Eva Guerra Turín, el mismo que es válido y confiable; asimismo, se utilizó las calificaciones de las actas para identificar el rendimiento académico y para probar la hipótesis se utilizó la r de Pearson, el Excel 2014 y el paquete estadístico SPSS FOR WINDOWS VERSIÓN 15 cuyo resultado arrojó que; las alumnas obtuvieron el nivel promedio Regular (57.14) en el Clima Social Familiar; específicamente, el promedio de la dimensión Relaciones Familiares (17.79) se encontró en el nivel bueno, mientras que Desarrollo Familiar (27.30) y Estabilidad Familiar (12.05) se encontraron en el nivel regular. Las alumnas obtuvieron en promedio un nivel Regular de Rendimiento Académico (13.09), siendo el 85.00% (68) de las alumnas las que obtuvieron este nivel máximo. Existe una correlación significativa entre el Clima Social Familiar y el Nivel Rendimiento Académico habiéndose obtenido un p – valúe = 0.336 > 0.01). Asimismo, existe una correlación significativa entre las dimensiones: relaciones familiares, desarrollo familiar y estabilidad familiar con el nivel de rendimiento académico, habiéndose obtenido p – valúe = 0.255; 0.244; 0.387 > 0.01.

This research has been aimed at determining if the family social climate is a determining factor in academic performance of the students of the fourth year of secondary education of the State Educational Institution. We worked with a sample of 80 students. To measure the level of family social climate, the Family Social Climate Scale (FES) of R.H. Moos and E.J. The students obtained, on average, a Regular Level of Academic Performance (13.09), with 85.00% (68) of the students obtaining this maximum level. There is a significant correlation between the Family Social Climate and the Academic Performance Level, obtaining a p - value = 0.336> 0.01). Likewise, there is a significant correlation between the dimensions: family relationships, family development and family stability with the level of academic achievement, having obtained p - value = 0.255; 0.244; 0.387> 0.01.
