Valores hematológicos referenciales en cachorros de Canis familiaris, que acudan a centros veterinarios del distrito de Trujillo, 2017

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como finalidad determinar los valores reales del hemograma de un cachorro de Canis familiaris. Dado que, en la mayoría de los centros veterinarios del distrito de Trujillo, se usan los valores referenciales del hemograma de un paciente adulto para evaluar a un cachorro. No siendo lo adecuado, debido a los cambios fisiológicos que se dan de acuerdo con su edad, no llegando a un diagnóstico bien orientado. Para esta investigación se utilizó las instalaciones de los centros veterinarios del distrito de Trujillo o el domicilio de los dueños de los cachorros, para obtener las muestras sanguíneas. La población estaba conformada por cachorros de Canis familiaris, de 1 a 12 meses de edad, de ambos sexos, que hayan acudido a un centro veterinario del distrito de Trujillo y se encuentren aparentemente sanos según evaluación de un médico veterinario. Para determinar la cantidad de la población, se aplicó una encuesta pre-estudio estadístico realizado en 23 centros veterinarios del distrito de Trujillo. Teniendo como resultado 108 cachorros, éstos fueron repartidos en grupos etarios: De 1 hasta los 3 meses de edad, de 3 hasta los 6 meses de edad y de 6 a 12 meses de edad. Realizando análisis de varianza para cada elemento del hemograma por grupo etario y los promedios, a través de la prueba de Tukey y diagramas de barras comparativos. Con el contraste estadístico, se pudo comprobar que no existe similitud con respecto a los valores referenciales de Canis familiaris cachorros con adultos, habiendo mayor diferencia a menor edad. Los valores hallados, deberían ser usados como valores referenciales, por estar dentro de los valores esperados y por haber correspondencia con el desarrollo fisiológicos e inmunológico de los cachorros.

This research has the purpose of determining the real values of the hemogram of a puppy of Canis familiaris. Because, in most veterinary centers of the district of Trujillo, the referential values of the hemogram of an adult patient are used to evaluate a puppy. Not being adequate, due to physiological changes that are given according to their age, not reaching a well-targeted diagnosis. For the development of this research, the facilities of the veterinary clinics of the district of Trujillo or the address of the owners of the puppies were used to obtain the blood samples. The population consisted of puppies of Canis familiaris, from 1 to 12 months of age, of both sexes, who had attended a veterinary clinic in the district of Trujillo and were apparently healthy according to the evaluation of a veterinarian.To determine the amount of the population, a statistical pre-survey was carried out in 23 veterinary clinics in the district of Trujillo. Resulting in 108 puppies, these were distributed in age groups: From 1 to 3 months of age, from 3 to 6 months of age and from 6 to 12 months of age. Doing analysis of variance for each element of the hemogram by age group and averages, through the Tukey test and comparative bar charts. With the statistical contrast, it was found that there is no similarity with to the reference values of a puppy with an adult, with a greater difference at a younger age. The values found can be used as reference values, because they are within the expected values and because they correspond to the physiological and immunological development of the puppies.
