Los participantes fueron 100 universitarios con edades entre 17 y 51 años ((M=24.76;
(χ²/gl = 1.40; CFI = .990; TLI = .989; SRMR = .078, y RMSEA = .067) y cargas factoriales (λ
The objective of the research was to determine the evidence of validity of the COVID-
19 Emotional Impact Profile scale in students of a private university in Trujillo. The
participants were 100 university students aged between 17 and 51 years ((M=24.76; SD=5.51),
of which 58% were women and 42% were men. The COVID-19 Emotional Impact Profile
Scale was studied (PIE-COVID-19) by researchers García and Magaz (2020).The main results
were: the 25 items are homogeneous and capable of discriminating the emotional profile (rit >
.50); the five-factor model reported a measure of adjustment (χ²/gl = 1.40; CFI = .990; TLI =
.989; SRMR = .078, and RMSEA = .067) and acceptable factor loadings (λ > .50) and reliable
measurements with consistency values between .78 and 85. It was concluded that the COVID-
19 Emotional Impact Profile Scale has psychometric properties that support its measurement
capabilities for use with students at a private university in Trujillo.
