dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Determinar las principales complicaciones por dengue durante el embarazo en pacientes del servicio de Ginecobstetricia del Hospital Santa Rosa, Piura en el periodo 2016 – 2018. Material y métodos: Estudio observacional, retrospectivo, transversal y descriptivo en base a historias clínicas de gestantes hospitalizadas en el servicio de Ginecobstetricia durante el periodo 2016 – 2018 que presentaron el diagnóstico de dengue. Resultados: Las gestantes con dengue confirmado en el hospital Santa Rosa, entre los años 2016 a 2018, son 103. El 44% se enfermó con dengue en el III trimestre y el 37% en el segundo trimestre de embarazo. Los meses en los que mayor cantidad de casos de dengue se registraron fueron Abril y Mayo. La mayoría de los casos (78.6%) se confirmaron con la prueba NS-1. La procedencia mayoritaria de las gestantes afectadas con dengue fue el distrito 26 de Octubre. El 58% de las gestantes se diagnosticaron como dengue sin signos de alarma, el 35.9% como dengue con signos de alarma y 5.8% como dengue grave. Los serotipos más frecuentes fueron: DENV – 2 y DENV – 3. Las complicaciones obstétricas registradas incluyen: Amenaza de aborto, aborto incompleto, parto pretérmino, ruptura prematura de membranas, oligohidramnios, óbito fetal y shock hipovolémico. Las alteraciones hematológicas incluyeron: Leucopenia, plaquetopenia y anemia. Cuatro pacientes fueron tributarias de Cuidados intensivos. No se registraron fallecidas en nuestra serie. Conclusiones: El dengue en gestantes genera complicaciones obstétricas, hematológicas y hemodinámicas, que ponen particularmente en riesgo a la madre y el feto.es_PE
dc.description.abstractObjective: To determine the main complications due to dengue during pregnancy in patients of the gynecology and obstetrics care service of the Hospital Santa Rosa, Piura in the period 2016 - 2018. Material and methods: Observational, retrospective, cross-sectional and descriptive study based on clinical histories of pregnant women hospitalized in the service of Obstetrics and gynecology during the period 2016 - 2018 that presented the diagnosis of dengue. Results: Pregnant women with dengue confirmed in the Santa Rosa hospital, between years 2016 to 2018, were 103. 44% became ill with dengue in the third trimester and 37% in the second trimester of pregnancy. The months in which most cases of dengue were registered were April and May. The majority of cases (78.6%) were confirmed with the NS-1 test. The majority of the pregnant women affected with dengue was the district of October 26th. 58% of the pregnant women were diagnosed as dengue without warning signs, 35.9% as dengue with warning signs and 5.8% as severe dengue. The most frequent serotypes of dengue were: DENV – 2 and DENV – 3. Obstetric complications recorded include: Threatened abortion, incomplete abortion, preterm delivery, premature rupture of membranes, oligohydramnios, fetal death and hypovolemic shock. The hematological alterations included: Leucopenia, thrombocytopenia and anemia. Four patients were subject to intensive care. No deaths were recorded in our series. Conclusions: Dengue in pregnant women generates obstetric, hematological and hemodynamic complications, which put the mother and the fetus particularly at risk.en_US
