Efectividad de un programa educativo dirigido al cuidador familiar de pacientes con enfermedad vascular cerebral del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2018

Abstract

La presente investigación de tipo aplicada pre – experimental tuvo como objetivo determinar la efectividad de un programa educativo en el cuidador familiar de pacientes con enfermedad vascular cerebral en el servicio de medicina de un Hospital local de nivel III-1 del ministerio de salud de la ciudad de Trujillo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 20 cuidadores familiares, a los cuales se les aplicó un instrumento pre y post programa educativo. En el pre test se encontró que el 80 % tuvo nivel de conocimiento bajo y el 20%, nivel de conocimiento medio. Así mismo después de aplicar el programa educativo el nivel de conocimiento fue alto en un 90 % y 10%, medio. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó la Prueba de “Chi cuadrado de Mc Nemar - B”, encontrándolo altamente significativo con un p<0.001. Se concluye que el programa educativo muestra una efectividad significativa para mejorar el nivel de conocimiento del cuidador familiar de pacientes con enfermedad vascular cerebral.

The present investigation of pre - experimental applied type had as objective to determine the effectiveness of an educational program in the family caregiver of patients with cerebral vascular disease in the medicine service of a local Hospital of level III-1 of the ministry of health of the city of Trujillo. The sample consisted of 20 family caregivers, to whom an instrument was applied pre and post educational program. In the pretest it was found that 80% had a low level of knowledge and 20% had a medium level of knowledge. Likewise after applying the educational program the level of knowledge was high by 90% and 10%, medium. For the statistical analysis, the ““Mc Nemar - B““ Chi square test was used, finding it highly significant with p <0.001. It is concluded that the educational program shows a significant effectiveness in improving the level of knowledge of the family caregiver of patients with cerebral vascular disease
