dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Comparar la microdureza superficial in vitro de una resina bulk fill sometida a diferentes técnicas para eliminar la capa inhibida de oxígeno. Material y métodos: Esta investigación de diseño experimental tuvo una muestra de 80 bloques de resina Bulk Fill Tetric ® N-Ceram de 6mm de diámetro y 4mm de profundidad, distribuidos en 4 grupos según la técnica para eliminar la capa inhibida de oxígeno: G1: control, G2: cinta celuloide, G3: pulido y G4: glicerina. Se evaluó la microdureza superficial en escala Vickers y posteriormente los resultados fueron procesados con la prueba ANOVA, complementada con el Post Hoc Tukey, con un nivel de significancia de 0.05. Resultados: La microdureza superficial in vitro de una resina bulk fill sometida a la técnica de cinta celuloide presentó 44.30 ± 2.36 HV, seguida del pulido con 43.18 ± 2.85 HV, luego la glicerina con 34.96 ± 2.12 HV y finalmente el grupo control con 33.37 ± 1.54 HV. Se encontraron diferencias significativas entre las técnicas, excepto entre la cinta celuloide y pulido (p=0.406), y entre la glicerina y el grupo control (p=0.132). dc.description.abstract | Objective: Compare the in vitro surface microhardness of a Bulk Fill resin subjected to different techniques to eliminate the oxygen-inhibited layer. Materials and Methods: This experimental study included a sample of 80 Tetric® N-Ceram Bulk Fill resin blocks, each measuring 6mm in diameter and 4mm in depth, distributed into four groups according to the technique used to eliminate the oxygen-inhibited layer: G1: control, G2: celluloid strip, G3: polishing, and G4: glycerin. Surface microhardness was evaluated using the Vickers scale, and the results were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Tukey's Post Hoc test, with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The in vitro surface microhardness of the bulk-fill resin subjected to the celluloid strip technique was 44.30 ± 2.36 HV, followed by polishing at 43.18 ± 2.85 HV, glycerin at 34.96 ± 2.12 HV, and the control group at 33.37 ± 1.54 HV. Significant differences were found between the techniques, except between the celluloid strip and polishing (p=0.406), and between glycerin and the control group (p=0.132).
