Relación entre actitud machista de las parejas y uso de métodos anticonceptivos en puérperas adolescentes de Nuevo Chimbote, 2023

Abstract

Con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre la actitud machista de las parejas y el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en las puérperas adolescentes atendidas en el Centro de Salud Yugoslavia Nuevo Chimbote, 2023, se realizó una investigación de tipo básica, cuantitativa, no experimental transversal descriptivo y de relación, con una muestra de 100 puérperas. Entre los resultados sobre las características demográficas se encontró que el estado civil fue conviviente (73%), grado de instrucción secundaria incompleta (70%), religión católica (79%), no trabajan (82%) el promedio de edad en años fue de 16.62 ± 0.53, con la actitud machista de la pareja se encontró que fue bastante (56%). Respecto al uso de métodos anticonceptivos en la población de estudio, se encontró que el (44%) presentó un uso malo, se pudo observar que al relacionar las variables cuando la actitud machista es bastante, el uso de métodos anticonceptivos se encuentra entre malo y regular, no se encontró relación entre la actitud machista de las parejas y el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en las puérperas adolescentes. Se concluyó que no existe relación entre actitud machista de las parejas y el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en las puérperas adolescentes atendidas en el Centro de Salud Yugoslavia Nuevo Chimbote, 2023, mediante la prueba Chi Cuadrado (p > 0.05)

With the objective of determining the relationship between the sexist attitude of couples and the use of contraceptive methods in postpartum adolescents treated at the Yugoslavia Nuevo Chimbote Health Center, 2023, a basic, quantitative, non experimental cross-sectional descriptive research was carried out. and relationship, with a sample of 100 postpartum women. Among the results on demographic characteristics, it was found that the marital status was cohabiting (73%), incomplete secondary education level (70%), Catholic religion (79%), not working (82%), the average age in years was of 16.62 ± 0.53, the partner's macho attitude was found to be quite high (56%). Regarding the use of contraceptive methods in the study population, it was found that (44%) presented poor use, it could be observed that when relating the variables when the sexist attitude is quite high, the use of contraceptive methods is between bad and regularly, no relationship was found between the sexist attitude of couples and the use of contraceptive methods in postpartum adolescents. It was concluded that there is no relationship between the sexist attitude of couples and the use of contraceptive methods in postpartum adolescents treated at the Yugoslavia Nuevo Chimbote Health Center, 2023, using the Chi Square test (p > 0.05)
