Covid-19 como factor de riesgo para parto pretérmino en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, 2021

Con el objetivo de determinar si el covid-19 es un factor de riesgo para el parto
pretérmino en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, 2021, se realizó un estudio
con enfoque cuantitativo, observacional no experimental, con diseño descriptivo de
asociación que consideró una muestra de 940 gestantes quienes fueron atendidas
en el servicio de emergencia. Entre los resultados se encontró que el 24.9% de
gestantes presentaron covid-19 y el 75.1% sin covid-19, dentro de las
características sociodemográfica y obstétrica de las gestantes con covid-19 y sin
covid-19 fueron adultas con el 16.3% y 51%, primíparas 8.9% y 24.8%, el 12% y
33.6% procedían de otros distritos de Trujillo respectivamente. Así mismo los partos
pretérminos en las gestantes con covid-19 se obtuvo 33.8%. El riesgo de padecer
parto pretérmino con covid-19 es del 6.672 con IC del 95% (5.697 - 7.813)
Concluyendo que el covid-19 si es factor de riesgo para parto pretérmino en
gestantes en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, en el periodo 2021 With the objective of determining whether covid-19 is a risk factor for preterm birth
at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo, 2021, a study was carried out with a
quantitative, observational, non-experimental approach, with a descriptive
association design that considered a sample of 940 pregnant women who were
treated in the emergency service. Among the results, it was found that 24.9% of
pregnant women presented with covid-19 and 75.1% without covid-19, within the
sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics of the pregnant women with covid-
19 and without covid-19, 16.3% and 51 were adults. %, primiparas 8.9% and 24.8%,
12% and 33.6% came from other districts of Trujillo respectively. Likewise, preterm
births in pregnant women with covid-19 were 33.8%. The risk of suffering preterm
