Sistema web para la gestión de historias clínicas del Instituto Regional de Oftalmología utilizando una plataforma de servicio

Abstract

El área temática de nuestro problema a desarrollar está ubicada en el área de Desarrollo de Software; en esta área centramos nuestra atención en la integración de soluciones de la tecnología de la información y de los procesos del negocio. El modelo nos va a brindar soporte en cuanto al manejo de la información de los pacientes y también nos va a permitir agilizar el proceso de Atención y reducir el tiempo de espera de los pacientes.

Los problemas que se presentan dentro de la Institución generan deficiencia en la atención a los pacientes, porque existe mucha demora por parte del personal encargado del área de Admisión al momento de aperturar su Historia Clínica, existe perdida de información y esto genera bastante molestia para los pacientes. Posteriormente, las historias clínicas en físico pasan al archivo clínico, donde también se han encontrado diversos problemas para llevar un adecuado control de las historias clínicas, entro los cuales se encuentran el mal archivamiento de las historias; no se lleva un control adecuado, en muchas ocasiones las historias clínicas pasan de un consultorio a otro y no se tiene un registro de dicho movimiento.

Para brindar una solución factible al problema presentado, se ha desarrollado un Sistema Web para la Gestión de Historias Clínicas utilizando una plataforma de servicio, respaldados por la metodología ICONIX, herramienta de desarrollo PHP y MySQL como gestor de Base de Datos.

The model will provide us with support regarding the handling of patient information and will also allow us to streamline the care process and reduce the waiting time of patients.

The problems that arise within the Institution generate deficiency in patient care, because there is a lot of delay on the part of the personnel in charge of the Admission area at the moment of opening their Clinical History, there is loss of information and this generates a lot of inconvenience for the patients. patients Subsequently, the clinical records in physics go to the clinical file, where various problems have also been found to keep an adequate control of the clinical histories, among which are the bad archiving of the histories; there is no adequate control, in many cases the medical records go from one clinic to another and there is no record of this movement.

To provide a feasible solution to the presented problem, a Web System for the Management of Clinical Stories has been developed using a service platform, supported by the ICONIX methodology, PHP development tool and MySQL as a database manager.
