Evidencias psicométricas del Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) en alumnos de una universidad privada de Trujillo

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas del Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) en estudiantes de Ingeniería Civil de una universidad privada de Trujillo. Se empleó el muestreo no probabilístico circunstancial o por conveniencia y se obtuvo una muestra por 648 voluntarios mayores de edad. Se encontró mediante la correlación ítem – test, valores de correlación positiva débil media, que fluctúan entre 0.367 y 0.583 que cumplían con el mínimo requerido; además, en el análisis factorial exploratorio se comprobó el modelo unifactorial presentado por Skinner RMSEA 0.097, KMO > 0.8 Unicidad > 0.5 En el apartado de fiabilidad, se empleó consistencia interna con el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach valor de 0.766 siendo una escala confiable. Asimismo, se construyeron baremos percentilares para el test y puntos de corte. Se concluyó que el test es apto, válido y cuenta con los requerimientos de rigor científico

The objective of this study was to determine the psychometric properties of the Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) in Civil Engineering students of a private university in Trujillo. Stratified probability sampling was used and a sample of 648 volunteers of legal age was obtained. By means of the item - test correlation, mean weak positive correlation values were found, fluctuating between 0.367 and 0.583, which complied with the minimum required; in addition, in the exploratory factor analysis the unifactorial model presented by Skinner was verified RMSEA 0.097, KMO > 0.8 Uniqueness > 0.5 In the reliability section, internal consistency was used with the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient value of 0.766, being a reliable scale. Likewise, percentile scales for the test and cut-off points were constructed. It was concluded that the test is suitable, valid and meets the requirements of scientific rigor.
