Ansiedad y depresión en escolares mujeres del nivel secundario en dos colegios de Piura 2018

Abstract

OBJETIVO. Estudiar la existencia de ansiedad y depresión en escolares mujeres del nivel secundario en dos colegios de Piura 2018. METODOLOGÍA. Básica, Observacional, Analítico-Transversal de tipo prospectivo por conveniencia, con análisis de datos primarios. La población de aproximadamente 1200 estudiantes (720 pertenecientes a la Institución educativa San José de Tarbes y 480 pertenecientes a la Institución educativa Nuestra Señora de Fátima), matriculados durante el año 2018, que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La recolección de datos se da por un conjunto de ficha de recolección de datos y escala de Beck aplicadas a los estudiantes del nivel secundario de los colegios anteriormente mencionados. RESULTADOS. Los factores socio-educativos asociados a la ansiedad y depresión fueron edad (RPa: 1,83 (IC95%: 1,13-2,99; valor p=0,015), el vivir solo con la mamá (RPa: 3,32; IC95%: 1,69-6,51; valor p<0,001), el vivir solo con el papá (RPa: 1,99; IC95%: 1,55-2,56; valor p<0,001) y finalmente el vivir con otro tipo de familiares (abuelos, tíos, apoderados) (RPa: 2,20; IC95%: 1,86-2,61; valor p= 0,021) CONCLUSIONES. La mayoría de estudiantes del nivel secundario de ambas instituciones tienen algún grado de ansiedad y depresión.

OBJECTIVE To study the existence of anxiety and depression in secondary school women in two schools of Piura 2018. METHODS. Basic, Observational, Analytical-Transversal Method of prospective type for convenience, with analysis of primary data. The population of approximately 1200 students (720 belonging to the San José de Tarbes Educational Institution and 480 belonging to the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Educational Institution), enrolled during 2018, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection is given by a set of data collection sheet and Beck scale applied to the secondary level students of the aforementioned schools. RESULTS The socio-educational factors associated with anxiety and depression were age (RPa: 1.83 (95% CI: 1.13-2.99; p-value = 0.015), living alone with the mother (RPa: 3.32; 95% CI: 1.69-6.51; p value <0.001), living alone with the father (RPa: 1.99; 95% CI: 1.55-2.56; p value <0.001) and finally living with another type of family (grandparents, uncles, proxies) (RPa: 2.20; 95% CI: 1.86-2.61; p-value = 0.021) CONCLUSIONS. Most students at the secondary level of both institutions have some degree of anxiety and depression.
