Abstract

OBJETIVO Determinar el nivel de nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas sobre fotoprotección en adolescentes de Costa y de Sierra de Piurana. Diciembre 2019. MATERIAL Y METODOS Observacional. Prospectivo. Transversal. Diseño: Estudio Comparativo. Se incluyó estudiantes del nivel secundario dos colegios nacionales de la costa y sierra piurana. Por conveniencia tipo censal se incluyó a la mayoría de estudiantes que se pueda encuestar. RESULTADOS. Nivel de conocimientos: Piura obtuvo mayor porcentaje de nivel intermedio 63.2%, nivel alto 20.9.%, y nivel bajo 15.9%; en comparación con Canchaque que tuvo 0% de nivel alto, nivel intermedio 54.6% y el 46.4% de con nivel bajo.. Nivel de Actitudes: predomina la actitud desfavorable con 59%. El colegio de la costa presenta un 53.5% actitud favorable, mientras que el colegio de la sierra tiene 78.7% de actitud desfavorable frente a la fotoprotección. Nivel de prácticas, 59% tiene nivel incorrecto de prácticas sobre fotoprotección. El colegio de la sierra tuvo 78.7% practicas incorrectas en comparación con el de la costa 54.3%prácticas correctas. De todos los alumnos que tienen nivel de conocimientos insuficientes, el 73% tienes prácticas incorrectas. Las diferencias entre lo que saben y lo que practican son estadísticamente significativas: chi2 de 37.103 y p <0.001. CONCLUSIONES. Se encontró un nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas es mejor en el colegio de la costa que en el colegio de la sierra.
