Actitudes maternas y rasgos de personalidad en madres de familia de una institución educativa inicial privada de El Porvenir - Trujillo

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la correlación entre las actitudes maternas y rasgos de personalidad en madres de familia de una institución educativa inicial privada de El Porvenir. Para ello se trabajó con una muestra de 106 madres de familia, con edades entre 20 y 45 años, cuyos hijos pertenecen a una institución educativa inicial privada del distrito de El Porvenir, provincia de Trujillo, con matricula vigente en el año 2019. Para el recojo de datos se utilizó dos instrumentos: el Cuestionario de evaluación de la relación madreniño (ERM) de Robert Roth (1965), adaptada y estandarizada por Edmundo Arévalo Luna (2008) y el Cuestionario de los cinco grandes factores – Big Five (BFQ) de Caprara, Barbaranelli y Borgogni. (1993). Los resultados muestran que predomina en las madres evaluadas, la actitud de Aceptación, representada por el 53.8%; el 34.0% presenta actitud de Sobreprotección; el 7.0% presenta actitud de Sobreindulgencia; y el 5.3%, presenta actitud de Rechazo; el nivel medio en las dimensiones Afabilidad, Estabilidad emocional y Apertura mental de los Rasgos de Personalidad, con porcentajes que oscilan entre 54.7% y 67.0%.; y el nivel bajo en las dimensiones Energía y Tesón, con porcentajes que oscilan entre 43.4% y 49.1%. Se encontraron múltiples correlaciones significativas, tanto positivas como negativas, entre las dimensiones de ambas variables de estudio.

The objective of this research was to determine the correlation between maternal attitudes and personality traits in mothers of an initial private educational institution in El Porvenir. For this, we worked with a sample of 106 mothers, with ages between 20 and 45, whose children belong to a private initial educational institution in the district of El Porvenir, province of Trujillo, with enrollment in force in the year 2019. For Two instruments were used to collect data: the Robert Roth Mother-Child Relationship Assessment (ERM) Questionnaire (1965), adapted and standardized by Edmundo Arévalo Luna (2008) and the Five Big Factor Questionnaire - Big Five ( BFQ) from Caprara, Barbaranelli and Borgogni. (1993). The results show that the Acceptance attitude predominates in the mothers evaluated, represented by 53.8%; 34.0% have an Overprotection attitude; 7.0% have an Overindulgence attitude; and 5.3%, presents a Rejection attitude; the average level in the dimensions Affability, Emotional Stability and Mental Opening of Personality Traits, with percentages ranging between 54.7% and 67.0% .; and the low level in the Energy and Teson dimensions, with percentages ranging between 43.4% and 49.1%. Multiple significant correlations, both positive and negative, were found between the dimensions of both study variables
