dc.description.abstract | La infección viral provocada por el coronavirus tipo 2 del síndrome respiratorio
agudo grave (SARS-CoV-2) se ha denominado enfermedad por coronavirus de
2019, COVID-19), la cual actualmente es una pandemia viral, virulenta y
contagiosa que se ha propagado ampliamente en todo el mundo. Como ocurre
con cualquier infección viral respiratoria de transmisión aérea, los pacientes
quirúrgicos y no quirúrgicos pueden verse afectados. En esta revisión, buscamos
presentar el impacto que la pandemia de la COVID-19 ha tenido en la manera
de operar cirugía abdominal, con la finalidad de aportar información para ayudar
a los cirujanos generales de las zonas afectada por la pandemia a evaluar la
seguridad de la cirugía e implementar algunas estrategias de trabajo hospitalario. | es_PE |

coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been called coronavirus disease 2019, COVID19), which is currently a viral, virulent and contagious pandemic that has spread
widely throughout the world. As with any airborne respiratory viral infection,
surgical and non-surgical patients can be affected. In this review, we seek to
present the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the way abdominal
