Centro cultural Víctor Larco

Abstract

La presente investigación, titulada “Centro Cultural Víctor Larco”, ha sido realizada con el objetivo de desarrollar un proyecto arquitectónico que incida en los aspectos sociales y ambientales del distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera. Para tal logro, se ha generado la dinamización de las actividades culturales dentro de este para la promoción de la integración y la conciliación de la diversidad cultural. Asimismo, el diseño ha estado guiado con un énfasis especial en el confort lumínico. La metodología ha sido desarrollada, primeramente, mediante un diagnóstico de la zona de estudio en términos socioculturales, con el fin de determinar la cobertura y la calidad del servicio brindados a su población. Dicho instrumento ha determinado que existe una insuficiencia de infraestructura cultural para satisfacer las necesidades en la zona de estudio. Por medio de la información cualitativa y cuantitativa recopilada, se ha dado lugar a la ubicación óptima y se ha definido la capacidad del complejo cultural. Las fuentes que se han empleado fueron el Reglamento Nacional de Edificaciones entre otros documentos y reglamentos vigentes. Habiendo sido determinada la viabilidad para la creación del Centro Cultural Víctor Larco, se ha procedido al estudio de los requerimientos funcionales por medio del análisis de los distintos tipos de usuarios y los análisis de casos tanto nacionales como internacionales. Una vez culminado dicho análisis, se ha llegado a determinar la programación para el proyecto. En lo concerniente al planteamiento arquitectónico, el diseño del Centro Cultural Víctor Larco en mención ha sido concebido partir de las premisas de interacción dinámica entre el edificio y el usuario, la flexibilidad y el confort lumínico. Dichas ideas rectoras han sido fundamentadas desde los ámbitos formales, funcionales, espaciales y ambientales. Vale aclarar que se ha realizado un énfasis en el diseño de iluminación desarrollando variadas estrategias modernas con el fin de elevar la calidad espacial del conjunto. El proyecto se ha finalizado con el desarrollo de las diferentes especialidades vinculadas a su diseño como son el sistema estructural, las instalaciones eléctricas y sanitarias, el cableado estructural y el plan de seguridad.

The following research, entitled “Víctor Larco Cultural Center”, has been developed with the objective of designing an architectural project that affects the social and environmental aspects in Víctor Larco district. In order to achieve this, the dinamization of cultural activities inside the building has been generated in order to promote the integration and reconciliation of cultural diversity. Moreover, the design has been guided with a special emphasis on lighting confort. Firstly, the methodology has been developed by means of a diagnosis of the study area in sociocultural terms, in order to determine the coverage and quality of the service provided to its population. This instrument has helped us to identify the lack of cultural infraestructure that is needed to satisfy the necessities of the study area. Through the cualitative and quantitative information that were collected, the optimal ubication and the right capacity have been established. The sources that have been used were “The National Building Regulations” among other documents and current regulations. Having determined the viability for the creation of the cultural center, we have proceeded to the study of the functional requirements through the study of the different types of users and the analysis of both national and international cases. Once this analysis has been completed, the programming for the project has been established. Regarding the architectural approach, the design of the Cultural Center in mention has been conceived starting from the premises of dinamic interaction between the building and the user, the flexibility and the light comfort. Those governing ideas have been based on the formal, functional, spatial and environmental spheres. It is worth mentioning that an emphasis on lighting design has been done, developing a wide range of modern strategies in order to raise the spatial quality of the architectural complex. The project has been completed with the development of the different specialties linked to its design, such as the structural system, electrical and sanitary installations, structural wiring and the safety plan.
