Desarrollo de una solución de inteligencia de negocios para la mejora en el análisis de información en las áreas de admisión y laboratorio del Centro Médico Pacifico del Norte de la ciudad de Trujillo usando la arquitectura tecnológica de Pentaho BI y la metodología de Larissa Moss

Abstract

El Centro Médico Pacifico del Norte es una empresa dedicada a prestación de servicios de salud ocupacional y asistencial. La clínica requiere mejorar el análisis de la información para poder tomar decisiones más rápidas y mejorando la creatividad que se emplee, permitiendo la reducción de tiempo en la obtención de informes solicitadas por la gerencia, que servirán para tomar decisiones en el momento necesario, lo cual le permitirán tomar ventajas sobre el mercado y así tener un mejor panorama del estado de su estado actual para poder realizar una mejor toma de decisiones de sus áreas de áreas de Admisión y Laboratorio utilizando la inteligencia de negocios como herramienta tecnológica. El objetivo principal del trabajo es “Mejorar en el análisis de información para el soporte en la toma de decisiones en las áreas de Admisión y Laboratorio del Centro Médico Pacifico del Norte de la ciudad de Trujillo usando la arquitectura tecnológica de Pentaho BI y basándose en parte de la metodología de Larissa Moss”. Teniendo como objetivos específicos: Obtener y analizar los requerimientos de las áreas críticas del negocio, Desarrollar el proceso ETL utilizando como herramienta Pentaho BI, Diseñar la estructura de que tendrán las dimensiones y cubos pertinentes para crear el diseño de vista de análisis y la navegabilidad que tendrá la información., Utilizar la herramienta Pentaho Report Designer para crear y diseñar los reportes correspondientes al Modelo implementado. Evaluar los resultados de los informes que muestra la solución BI implementada.

The main objective of the work is to “Improve the analysis of information for support in decision-making in the Admission and Laboratory areas of the North Pacific Medical Center of the city of Trujillo using the technological architecture of Pentaho BI and based on part of the methodology of Larissa Moss”. Having as specific objectives: Obtain and analyze the requirements of the critical areas of the business, Develop the ETL process using as a Pentaho BI tool, Design the structure that will have the relevant dimensions and cubes to create the analysis view design and the navigability that will have the information., Use the Pentaho Report Designer tool to create and design the reports corresponding to the Model implemented. Evaluate the results of the reports shown by the implemented BI solution.
