Agresividad en estudiantes del nivel secundario de dos instituciones educativas de Piura, 2018

Abstract

La presente investigación es sustantiva de tipo descriptivo comparativa con diseño no experimental, que aborda el nivel de agresividad que tienen los estudiantes de 1er a 5to año del nivel secundario de una institución educativa pública y una privada. El objetivo fue determinar el nivel de agresividad en los estudiantes del nivel secundario entre una Institución Educativa Pública y una Institución Educativa Privada de Piura, 2018. Se trabajó con una muestra de 285 estudiantes de la institución educativa pública y 186 estudiantes de la institución educativa privada de ambos géneros, que pertenecen de primer a quinto año del nivel secundario de entre 12 a 17 años, el muestreo utilizado fue probabilístico de tipo estratificado. El instrumento utilizado para la recolección de datos fue el Cuestionario de Agresión de Buss y Perry, adaptado por Matalinares, Reyes y Yarigaño (2012), se evalúa a través de cuatro subescalas, las cuales son agresividad física, agresividad verbal, ira y hostilidad. Se obtuvo como resultado que la institución educativa pública se encuentra en un nivel alto de agresividad con un 50.5% mientras que la institución educativa privada se encuentra en un nivel de agresividad bajo con un 48.4%, mediante el estadístico de U de Mann – Whitney se obtuvo el valor P = 0.005 < α = 0.05 (5%) de nivel de significancia llegando a la conclusión que existe diferencia significativa entre la institución educativa pública y la institución educativa privada en la cuidad de Piura.

This investigation is descriptive - comparative type with no experimental design. It search for the level of aggressiveness that students have of secondary level from state institution and a private school. The purpose was to analyze whether or not there are significant differences in the level of aggressiveness in adolescents at the secondary level between a State Institution and a private one in Piura, 2018. A sample of 285 students from the state institution and 186 students from the private of both genders, which belong to the first to fifth year of the secondary level between 11 to 17 years, the sampling used was probabilistic of the stratified type. The instrument was the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire, adapted by Matalinares, Reyes and Yarigaño (2012), it evaluated through four subscales which are: physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility. The result was that state educational institution is at a high level of aggressiveness with 50.5% while the private educational institution is at a low level of aggressiveness with 48.4%, through the U statistics of Mann-Whitney was obtained the value P = 0.005 <α = 0.05 (5%). With it, we obtained that are significant difference between the state educational institution and the private educational institution of the city Piura.
