Propiedades psicométricas de la escala de actitudes favorables hacia la violación en mujeres jóvenes del distrito de Trujillo

Abstract

Esta investigación ha tenido como objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Actitudes Favorables hacia la Violación en mujeres jóvenes del Distrito de Trujillo. El tipo de estudio utilizado fue el “tecnológico”. La muestra la integraron 597 mujeres jóvenes. El instrumento lleva por nombre original Rape Supportive Atittude Scale (RSAS) que en español traduce como actitudes favorables hacia la violación [AFHV]. Los resultados sobre la validación de estructura reportó los siguientes índices de ajuste x 2 /gl = 4.58, RMSEA = .077 IC [.072- .083], S-RMR = .086, CFI = .87; TLI = .85, solamente aceptables en los que corresponden al ajuste absoluto, mientras que las cargas factoriales alcanzaron valores desde .25 a .59, aceptables bajo el criterio de relevancia estadística. La estimación de la consistencia reportó un coeficiente de ω = .70, aceptable de acuerdo a los estándares sugeridos. Finalmente, se obtuvieron puntuaciones convertidas de tipo percentil, atribuyéndose puntos de corte para su interpretación.

This research has aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Scale of Favorable Attitudes towards Rape in young women from the Trujillo District. The type of study used was “technological“ one. The sample consisted of 597 young women. The original name of the instrument is Rape Supportive Atittude Scale (RSAS), which translates into Spanish as “Actitudes Favorables hacia la Violación” [AFHV]. The results on structure validation reported the following adjustment indices x2/gl = 4.58, RMSEA = .077 IC [.072- .083], S-RMR = .086, IFC = .87; TLI = .85, only acceptable in those corresponding to the absolute adjustment, while the factorial loads reached values from .25 to .59, acceptable under the criterion of statistical relevance. The consistency estimate reported a coefficient of ω = .70, acceptable according to the suggested standards. Finally, converted percentile scores were obtained and cut-off points were attributed for their interpretation.
