Efectividad de la crioterapia en el tratamiento de neoplasias intraepiteliales cervicales en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel, 2016-2019

Abstract

Con la finalidad de determinar si la Crioterapia es efectiva en el tratamiento de neoplasias intraepiteliales cervicales en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel, 2016 – 2019; se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal. La recolección de los datos se obtuvo mediante la revisión de historias clínicas de pacientes que acudieron por consulta externa al servicio de preventorio y se registraron en una ficha de recolección de datos. Encontrándose que la incidencia de mujeres con neoplasias intraepiteliales cervicales en el año 2016 (Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel servicio preventorio) fue de 10.82 por cada 10000 MEF, con diagnósticos de NIC I (48) y NIC II (7). También la proporción del diagnóstico que se obtuvieron post-Crioterapia mediante PAP fue de 11.1%, con IVAA no se obtuvo ninguno y finalmente mediante Colposcopia se obtuvo el 21.1%. Además, la efectividad de la crioterapia no está relacionada con la edad, número de parejas sexuales y paridad (p>0.05); por el contrario, la edad de IRS si se relaciona con la efectividad del tratamiento (p<0.05). Finalmente se concluyó que la Crioterapia si es efectivo en el tratamiento de neoplasias intraepiteliales cervicales en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel, 2016 – 2019 (p<0.05); con un porcentaje de efectividad del 90.9%.

In order to determine whether cryotherapy is effective in the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia in women treated at the Santa Isabel District Hospital, 2016 - 2019, a quantitative, descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study was conducted. The data collection was obtained by reviewing the medical records of patients who attended the outpatient clinic and were recorded in a data collection form. Finding that the incidence of women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasias in 2016 (Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel preventorio service) was 10.82 por 10000 MEF, with diagnoses of CIN I (48) and CIN II (7). Also the proportion of diagnosis obtained post-Cryotherapy by PAP was 11.1%, with VIAA none were obtained and finally by Colposcopy 21.1% were obtained. In addition, the effectiveness of cryotherapy is not related to age, number of sexual partners and parity (p>0.05); on the contrary, the age of IRS is related to the effectiveness of the treatment (p<0.05). Finally, it was concluded that Cryotherapy is effective in the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia in women treated at the Santa Isabel District Hospital, 2016 - 2019 (p<0.05); with an effectiveness percentage of 90.9%.
