Prácticas alimentarias de las madres y su relación con la anemia ferropénica en lactantes del Centro de Salud Aranjuez–Trujillo, 2021

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación de las prácticas alimentarias de las madres con la anemia ferropénica en lactantes del Centro de Salud Aranjuez –Trujillo 2021, la investigación fue de tipo descriptiva, correlacional y de corte transversal; la muestra estuvo conformada por 75 madres de lactantes de 6 a 24 meses, que asistieron regularmente al Centro de Salud Aranjuez –Trujillo durante el año 2021; como técnica se empleó la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario para las prácticas alimentarias y para la anemia ferropénica los valores de hemoglobina se obtuvieron a través de las historias clínicas y en el servicio de Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo. En lo cual se pudo identificar que en la mayoría de las madres de lactantes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Aranjuez tenían entre 23 y 28 años (44%), conviviente (47%) y secundaria completa (45%). En cuanto al resultado de ambas variables, se encontró que el 67% de madres de lactantes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Aranjuez tenían buenas prácticas alimentarias, según el indicador el 45% no presenta anemia, el 33% presentan malas prácticas alimentarias y el indicador del nivel anemia leve presenta el 55%. Se logró realizar la prueba estadística de Chi cuadrado donde se determinó que existe relación entre las prácticas alimentarias de las madres y la anemia ferropénica en lactantes del Centro de Salud Aranjuez -Trujillo, 2021, puesto que se obtuvo un valor de significancia asintótica, p = 0.000 y un valor Chi cuadrado de X2 o = 66.270.

The objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship of the feeding practices of mothers with iron deficiency anemia in infants from the Aranjuez-Trujillo Health Center 2021, the investigation was descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional; The sample consisted of 75 mothers of infants aged 6 to 24 months, who regularly attended the Aranjuez-Trujillo Health Center during the year 2021; As a technique the survey was used and as an instrument a questionnaire for dietary practices and for iron deficiency anemia, the hemoglobin values were obtained through medical records and in the Growth and Development Control service. In which it was possible to identify that in most of the mothers of infants attended at the Aranjuez Health Center were between 23 and 28 years old (44%), cohabiting (47%) and complete secondary school (45%). Regarding the result of both variables, it was found that 67% of mothers of infants treated at the Aranjuez Health Center had good dietary practices, according to the indicator, 45% do not present anemia, 33% present poor dietary practices and the indicator 55% of the mild anemia level. The Chi-square statistical test was performed, where it was determined that there is a relationship between the feeding practices of mothers and iron deficiency anemia in infants at the Aranjuez Trujillo Health Center, 2021, since an asymptotic significance value was obtained, p = 0.000 and a Chi-square value of X2o = 66.270
