Nivel de aceptación de la vacuna COVID 19 de los estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Trujillo - 2021

Abstract

Determinar el nivel de aceptación de la vacuna COVID 19 en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Trujillo - 2021. Material y método: La presente investigación prospectivo, transversal y observacional se realizó de manera virtual en las sesiones Zoom de los docentes de la escuela de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Se evaluó a 180 estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos. Se les aplicó un cuestionario virtual validado previamente por juicio de expertos y que consto de 19 preguntas; además de información general como edad y sexo. Se realizó un análisis estadístico descriptivo considerando frecuencias absolutas y porcentuales. Resultados: Se encontró que el 97.2% de estudiantes se ha vacunado contra la COVID 19. El 41.1% fue vacunado con Pfizer, el 44.4% fue vacunado con Sinopharm, el 11.1% con AstraZeneca, el 0.6% no sabe que vacuna le han inoculado y el 2.8% no se ha vacunado. Conclusiones: Los estudiantes de Estomatología de la universidad Privada Antenor Orrego presentaron un alto nivel de aceptación de la vacuna COVID 19.

To determine the level of acceptance of the COVID 19 vaccine in stomatology students at the Antenor Orrego Private University. Trujillo - 2021. Material and method: This prospective, cross-sectional and observational research was carried out in a virtual way in the Zoom sessions of the teachers of the stomatology school of the Antenor Orrego Private University. 180 stomatology students from the Antenor Orrego Private University who met the established inclusion and exclusion criteria were evaluated. They were applied a virtual questionnaire previously validated by expert judgment and consisting of 19 questions; as well as general information such as age and gender. A descriptive statistical analysis was carried out considering absolute and percentage frequencies. Results: It was found that 97.2% of students have been vaccinated against COVID 19. 41.1% were vaccinated with Pfizer, 44.4% were vaccinated with Sinopharm, 11.1% with AstraZeneca, 0.6% do not know which vaccine they have been inoculated with. and 2.8% have not been vaccinated. Conclusions: Stomatology students from the Antenor Orrego Private University presented a high level of acceptance of the COVID 19 vaccine.
