Centro Cultural en el Distrito de Huamachuco

Abstract

Un centro cultural es un equipamiento creado con la intención de servir como medio para la difusión de distintas expresiones artísticas, culturales, educativas, filosóficas etc.; en el que un determinado pensador expresa sus puntos de vista o un artista expone su arte. Este equipamiento ayuda a conectar la cultura con el público, enriquece y fortalece su identidad cultural. Un centro cultural debe adoptar al lugar y sus características tanto geográficas como de su población y/o costumbres para así aportar al desarrollo social y territorial de un lugar. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo proyectar un centro cultural que responda a las necesidades del distrito de Huamachuco, el cual tiene una gran riqueza histórica-cultural latente a través de su patrimonio y sus asociaciones culturales que realizan diferentes actividades como: exposiciones, presentaciones, enseñanzas, etc. Cabe indicar que, a la fecha, el distrito, no cuenta con una infraestructura cultural para el desarrollo de estas actividades. La intervención arquitectónica se proyecta en uno de los sitios íconos de la zona: “Las pampas de Purrumpampa”; lugar de recreación y de mucha riqueza histórica, en cuyo lugar se escenifica cada año la muy conocida “batalla de Huamachuco”. La infraestructura considera criterios de diseño que comprenden aspectos formales, funcionales, espaciales, contextuales y de seguridad, adecuados para el desarrollo de actividades propias de un centro cultural; el proyecto responde a un equipamiento donde convergen lo cultural, educativo y recreativo. Su diseño involucra espacios Públicos Integradores, que proyecta la presencia de las pampas y conecta la ciudad con el Centro Cultural, con la finalidad de producir encuentros entre los habitantes y de ellos con la ciudad, generando un vínculo entre la ciudad y el equipamiento.

A cultural center is an equipment created with the intention of serving as a means for the diffusion of different artistic, cultural, educational, philosophical expressions etc .; in which a certain thinker expresses his points of view or an artist exposes his art with the purpose of connecting the culture with the public, enriching and strengthening their cultural identity. A cultural center must adopt the place and its geographical characteristics as well as its population and / or customs in order to contribute to the social and territorial development of a place. This research aims to project a cultural center that responds to the needs of the Huamachuco district, which has a great latent historical-cultural wealth through its heritage and its cultural associations that carry out different activities such as: exhibitions, presentations, teachings, etc. It should be noted that, to date, the district does not have a cultural infrastructure for the development of these activities. The architectural intervention is projected in one of the iconic sites of the area: “Las pampas de Purrumpampa”; a place of recreation and rich in history, where the well-known ““batalla de Huamachuco““ is staged every year. The infrastructure considers design criteria that include functional, spatial and security aspects, suitable for the development of activities typical of a cultural center; the project responds to a facility where the cultural, educational and recreational converge. Its design involves an Integrative Public space, which projects the presence of the pampas and connects the city with the Cultural Center, in order to produce encounters between the inhabitants and between them with the city, generating a link between the city and the equipment.
