| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this thesis is to design an inventory management system to reduce inventory costs in the Botica FARMAPLUS E.I.R.L. The realization of the study, begins from the diagnosis of the current situation of the apothecary, for this, a field observation and interview with the owner and pharmacy technician were carried out in order to obtain information related to how they carry out the orders, with how often they do it and what is the waiting time for the products. From the information collected, the products with the highest demand were identified using the ABC Analysis, obtaining that 133 products belong to class A, out of a total of 509 products. As a population, the number of products corresponding to class A was considered and a sample of said category of 99 products was taken, which were the object of study. Then, the type of demand of the main products was analyzed, through the coefficient of variability and from this, the appropriate inventory model for each type of demand was determined, it was obtained that 90 products have constant demand and 9 products; variable demand. Next, the EOQ Model for constant demand and the P Model for variable demand were developed. Finally, the current costs of the pharmacy were calculated, which was S/. 88,847.89 and compared with the costs of the proposed inventory models, it was obtained a saving of S/. 29,120.33, which represents 33% of the total costs, being of great benefit to the pharmacy. | en_US |
