Arco evolutivo de las dimensiones de los personajes cinematográficos de Marvel: Iron Man y Capitán América 2008 – 2019

Abstract

El objetivo de la siguiente investigación fue determinar de qué manera las tres dimensiones del personaje: física, psicológica y social, influyen en el arco evolutivo de los personajes del Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel, Capitán América y Iron Man, 2008 – 2019. La metodología empleada fue de carácter descriptivo cuantitativo, mediante el cual utilizamos como instrumento una ficha de observación, diseñada a través del marco teórico, con el fin de recopilar la información de 14 películas y dos personajes. Los personajes de Capitán América y Iron Man, cuentan con 7 películas respectivamente; 3 en solitario y 4 en conjunto y si bien la población fue todo el Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel entre el 2008 y 2019, el cual constaba de 21 películas, únicamente se estudió las películas en las cuales los personajes analizar tenían participación. Tras el análisis de los resultados obtenidos, se determinó que la dimensión social influyó sobre la dimensión física e incluso psicológica, aunque esta última también influyó en el arco evolutivo de los personajes. Siendo una evolución radical la que sufren tanto el Capitán América y Iron Man en muchas de sus características. Por otro lado, resaltó la importancia de la dimensión física, pues sin esta dimensión no sería posible la construcción y posterior evolución de los personajes estudiados.

The objective of our research was to determine how the three dimensions of the character: physical, psychological and social, influence the evolutionary arc of the characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America and Iron Man, 2008 - 2019. The methodology used was of a qualitative descriptive nature, through which we used an observation sheet as an instrument, designed through the theoretical framework, in order to collect information from 14 films and two characters. The characters of Captain America and Iron Man, have 7 filmsrespectively; 3 alone and 4 together and although the population was the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe between 2008 and 2019, which consisted of 21 films, only the films in which the analyzed characters had participation were studied. After analyzing the results obtained, we were able to determine that the social dimension influences the physical and even psychological dimension, although the latter also influences the evolutionary arc of the characters. Being a radical evolution that both Captain America and Iron Man suffer in many of their characteristics. On the other hand, we highlight the importance of the physical dimension, because without this dimension the construction and subsequent evolution of the characters studied would not be possible.
