Ansiedad y Resiliencia en Personal Asistencial de Hospitales del Ministerio de Salud de Trujillo

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y la resiliencia en personal asistencial de hospitales del ministerio de salud de Trujillo. Estudio de tipo descriptivo, con un diseño cuantitativo correlacional. La muestra ha sido constituida por 306 personal asistencial del Minsa, siendo 143 personales procedentes del Hospital Belén y 163 personales procedentes del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, a quienes se les administró el inventario de ansiedad de Beck (IAB) y el Test de Resiliencia de Wagnild y Young. Los resultados respecto al inventario de ansiedad de Beck, indican que el personal asistencial obtuvo un nivel leve (36,3%) y normal (28,4%); y en el Test de Resiliencia obtuvieron un nivel muy alto (77,5%) y en el factor I un nivel muy alto (69,6%) y en el factor II un nivel alto (68,6%); además, contó con un valor P=.005 y una correlación de tipo positiva muy baja (Rho=.161). Concluyendo que no existe relación entre ansiedad y resiliencia en el personal asistencial de hospitales del Ministerio de Salud de Trujillo.

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and resilience in healthcare personnel from hospitals of the Trujillo Ministry of Health. Descriptive study, with a correlational quantitative design. The sample consisted of 306 health care personnel from the Minsa, 143 being personnel from the Belén Hospital and 163 personnel from the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital, who were administered the Beck Anxiety Inventory (IAB) and the Resilience Test from Wagnild and Young. The results regarding Beck's anxiety inventory indicate that the healthcare personnel obtained a mild (36.3%) and normal (28.4%) level; and in the Resilience Test they obtained a very high level (77.5%) and in factor I a very high level (69.6%) and in factor II a high level (68.6%); Furthermore, it had a P value = .005 and a very low positive correlation (Rho = .161). Concluding that there is no relationship between anxiety and resilience in the hospital staff of the Trujillo Ministry of Health.
