Conocimiento y aplicación de la mecánica corporal del enfermero en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2023

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo, determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y aplicación de la mecánica corporal del enfermero en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2023. Estudio de tipo básico, de diseño descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal. La muestra censal estuvo constituida por 30 enfermeros. Para el nivel de conocimiento, la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario y para la aplicación de la mecánica corporal fue la observación y una guía de observación; los hallazgos muestran que 100% de los enfermeros poseen un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre mecánica corporal, de los cuales, 67% de ellos tienen un dominio correcto en la aplicación de la mecánica corporal y un 33% lo hace de manera incorrecta. Finalmente, en relación a la hipótesis general, la correlación fue, Rho = 0,448, se obtuvo el valor de p= 0.007 (p<0.05). Es decir, se rechaza la hipótesis nula (Ho) y se acepta la hipótesis de investigación (Hi). En conclusión, existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la aplicación de la mecánica corporal del enfermero en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2023.

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship that exists between the knowledge and application of body mechanics of the nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2023. A basic study, with a cross-sectional correlational descriptive design. The census sample consisted of 30 nurses. To measure the level of knowledge, the technique used was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire and to measure the application of body mechanics the technique was observation and as an instrument an observation guide; The findings show that 100% of nurses have a high level of knowledge about body mechanics. Likewise, 67% of nurses have correct mastery in the application of body mechanics and 33% do it incorrectly. Finally, in relation to the general hypothesis, the correlation was, Rho = 0.448; Likewise, the value of p= 0.007 (p<0.05) was obtained. That is, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the research hypothesis (Hi) is accepted. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of body mechanics of the nurse in the Intensive Care Unit Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2023
